Now that all of you are receiving your kits, please reply to this comment of mine in case you want me to feature your pictures on my website and Instagram! Thank you all for the support and patience, I hope you’re enjoying Legacy!
MiToI have been ravenously getting all your sets. You're really killin' it this year!
I have enough GMK Laser to kit out two Preonics. I got 2 full sets of DSA Legacy. I'm typing on XDA Godspeed right now. I'm absolutely stoked for my Pulse sets coming later next year too! I'm going to build a new board just so I never remove Mitolet :D
PoisonOakThanks, my layout is a slight variation of the one I pushed to QMK firmware repo under the preonic, "bucktooth" which is a combination of features from several KBs over the years I've used. Keeps all US ANSI symbol keys as simple keys, combines cursor keys much like the first KB I ever used, the C64, and puts all commands under the thumbs and pinkies like I started to do with Ergodox. Press and hold ESC for fn, tap fn for LEFT CURSOR, hold ENTER for RGUI, hold . for right shift. It's a work in progress :-)
MiToReally liking the kit, thank you! My only gripe is that the 7 key up top seems to fit differently / stick out more than the rest of the keys. Overall I'm pretty happy!
MiToI’ve wanted Pulse since I first got into mechs. I did a google search for mechanical keyboards the day I decided to get one and saw Pulse and SA 1976 and knew I wanted them both! Unfortunately, neither was available. Now I finally have the closest thing to it until SA Pulse drops next year!
It took me a while, but I finally got around to doing something similar. Though, in my case it was a matter of moving the lateral modifier columns to the middle columns. I had actually never given it any thought before I saw your photo, but I really like the concept of putting 2 columns medial to the index fingers and having nothing lateral to the pinkys in home position. Thanks for the inspiration.
