Hi everyone, We’re back with another update on the March 23rd Massdrop x Noble Kaiser 10 Custom In-Ear Monitor drop. Noble has just informed us that production is complete and the IEMs are entering the quality control process as we speak. With that said, they are running a few days behind schedule and you can expect to see movement in your shipment the following week (week of August 27). We apologize for the slight delay, but are excited for you to receive your Massdrop x Noble Kaiser Custom In-Ear Monitors soon.

JaleesaGWill Noble reply to customer service inquiries related to this drop? I've been emailing them for over a week at the Gmail address provided to me by a Massdrop customer support representative to change my shipping address and they don't reply. Seeing as there is a production delay, that gives them extra time to help me out but they don't reply.
Disappointing customer service after shelling out the amount of money that the product costs.

JaleesaGThanks for getting back to me. I was able to solve this issue by contacting Dr. Moulton directly in the Head-Fi forums. It's great that he personally took some time to help me out, which is a positive trait of his.
However, I think it's necessary to have better communication channels set up for drops like these as all the Massdrop support did was basically tell me "try this email" after shrugging their shoulders.

gmcgahanI logged into UPS which has my address tied to it, It showed a future delivery. I expect to get an email from UPS for what I saw in their portal, it's what they do normally with deliveries. I haven't otherwise received any communication outside of this discussion about it.

gmcgahanI've also not received any communication from Massdrop or Noble. And it's being delivered to a business address so unfortunately it appears there is no simple way to track it.

JaleesaGUpdate: They were delivered this morning. Finally found the time to go down to the dock and pick them up. Exactly as ordered and all seems to be in excellent condition. Just started listening to them, using my normal go-to quick sample music - 10cc. Lots of harmony, studio hocus-pocus and a range of music types. Just noticed something I'd never heard before on "Mandy" - at the beginning of the song wayyy in the background someone is doing a 1,2,3,4 countdown. Interesting. Anyway took some pictures of the unboxing to share.
Package was intact, no damage; note that this label is present.

First problem to solve was - which one is left and which one is right? Noticed that there's a blue dot on one and red dot on the other. Hmmmm, in sailing red is port (left) and *green* is starboard (right) so that's not helping here. Went to Noble's website and found the FAQ where this is addressed - blue is left and red is right (so there's your mnemonic device right there). They also address how to fit them: The cable should be worn up, over, and behind the ear with the dots facing "up" at all times
With that resolved plugged them in and turned on the music. Happy.

CoMurchuMine arrived today and were shipped on the 24 August from China. Cable seems ok, however, certainly not as tidy as the one in the official drop photo around the ear pieces. The official drop photo above looks like it is some sort of heat shrink at the iem end. On mine, it is a plastic sleeve - this may be heatshrink, but it is un-shrunk if it is and kinks where you wrap the wire around your ear. Looking @Karl_in_Chicago's photo, mine look the same as his. They definitely don't look like @naojin's nicely finished cable below. His look to have been heat-shurnk and are more in line with the main photo.

Karl_in_ChicagoIn the last picture is that the standard cable or the balanced? That one at least has the Noble y splitter. Mine looks like Zekken‘s that has a little plastic sleeving instead of a y splitter. I have other Noble IEMs and the cables were all better than this one.
