Hey everyone!
Sorry I've been away from this thread - I'm back and around to answer any questions that I can.
As @YanboWu mentioned below there was a bit of a mystery PCB bug going from prototype to production that the MD team was able to fix on their recent trip. Turns out controlling humidity is pretty important for storing/soldering LED's and a few extra hours spent drying the components has solved the issue.
With that I think it means we're back on track and we'll have to wait for @YanboWu and team for the final schedule which shouldn't be too far off.
Thanks everyone for hanging tight!
fuckshitstackFor the box switches thats a a MD / @YanboWu question since it's more parts sourcing related.
As for acrylic bottom - working on that! Stay tuned!
Rice_KrispiesYou're welcome! My fault for being MIA in the process. Shouldn't be too bad at all and seems like the mystery LED/humidity issue was the only snag.
tokyocoffeenerd@tokyocoffeenerd I've asked this question directly @YanboWu and haven't gotten any response. Someone else in this discussion contacted support and they said there wasn't anything they could do about it because the order had already been placed. Unfortunately it looks like I'm going to be receiving a bag of switches with my board that I won't be able to use for anything. Thank you by the way for the transparency with everything that is going on.
