One of the joys of owning a mechanical keyboard is the opportunity for upgrades and custom additions. From changing out keycaps to installing new switches, each customization task can help you fine-tune your board to fit your preferences Read More
Really wish these came with a small drawstring mesh bag for easy storage and travel. Maybe even a tube to slide the brush into for protection of the bristles. Only gripe.
They are exactly what I needed. I keep them on my keyboard tray and when I feel there is too much dust or I see some debris between keys, I simply take these out and start taking apart and cleaning more board with ease.
Many caps and boards are designed slightly different, but if you use fínese, one of these tools will do the job of taking out your caps without damaging.
I’ve had no issues with them.
This kit stays in my drawer and I must say it is quite handy to have for quick maintenance. I use the brush all the time and the keycap puller is my main one. They weak point of the kit is the switch puller. It is very flimsy and you have to grip it low and use a lot of force to get a good pull on the switch. Just get a Rama switch puller and life will be just fine.
Very useful set of tools if you're just getting started with the hobby. I've used all of them already. You have almost everything you need. I'd recommend adding: 1) a jeweler's claw for holding stems; and 2) tweezers for fixing bent pins.
You can easily find better ones of each of these three items. But this way, as a set, they are a good thought-out solution, especially the brush that can reach in every keyboard tight place that can accumulate dust.
