I feel like the mousepad being water-repellent doesn't make drink spillage a "non-issue"...I don't think most people are worrying about if their _mousepad_ is going to take water damage, it's more the whole water-splashing-into-your-electronics-and-shorting-them-out thing...I'd almost rather have an absorbent mousepad that'll suck up any liquids from a spill lmao
I love this site but sometimes the verbal fluffery in the product descriptions makes me roll my eyes..."prevents data loss," my goodness...
sin-chEveryone disagreeing is nuts, I have a steelseries mousemat that will absorb liquid like a camel and it's saved my gear quite a few times theoretically. Everyone talking about keeping them clean just isn't aware that there are mousepads that are WASHABLE, that's where it's really at, not this water resistant crap.
If by "gamed enough" you mean spending 16+ hours a day playing video games, 7 days a week and when a mat/pad "issue" results in flying into either a blind rage or slipping into days long depression, then yes. I have not "gamed enough" to understand.
What is going on with the shipping prices? This is like the 4 drop that am interested but gonna pass again with these shipping prices that are all most the same as the product. Insane.
15.25 for me shipping its a shame no way oh looks what is back to the msrp of the mouse pad itself all of a sudden. Here's a deal we'll give it to you but then over charge for shipping so we don't lose any money by giving up the discount what a scam
Fair enough... I type for a living (customer service emails) so I felt like the K-Type was a good investment, and Laser will just be the cherry on top :) Sorry to hear about your board though.
BlueCrownedLaser is sick.
You'll love the combo.
Yeah.
Board break is heartbreak.
MassDrop is taking care of me.
But after it happened I just lost something.
Hard to explain. Regardless.
I had fun. And my mission will be compete.
I'll be posting talks about different things later on. I'm not going anywhere. ;) yet.
Hell. I started collecting T-shirts. I'm at 190 so far. So the grind never stops. Shorts are at 30. Pants at 1. :D
intkI will say this- it's better than most cloth pads for that and easier to clean off the hair. The problem I found with my cat is that he liked the material and wanted to claw it. Which is why I am joining the drop to get a new one. =P
I got this on Saturday, so I've had it a couple days now. I bought it to replace two large-ish mousepads I had sitting next to each other which started to get bothersome to keep in place.
The fabric is really nice, I like the way it feels. I'm a big fan of the stitched edges since my last mousepad ended up peeling where my hand would sit and that didn't help with keeping it in place at all. The logo really isn't that pronounced in real life compared to in photos, and I rarely look at it anyway, so not a big deal. Overall, I'm a big fan of this and it's definitely better than the two mousepads next to each other setup I had before.
(pls ignore the random tamagotchi, cassette tape, etc.)
Hai HuggableSquare.. I love your review about this pad... But can i know the thickness of it? And also the one in the picture is in XL size right? Thanks a lot.. :)
If you go quick these are on amazon at the moment with a Mionix 12 dollar discount I got mine just now for 12.38 shipped. The bigger one is not available but if you get it now it will ship at the low price. So once that is over this is better but not right now.
Yeah my friend got an XXL and was like damn. If this was without the rebate at the moment massdrop.com would be pretty good. I still gets lots on here you can only get here though.
iskandarariffinHaha alright thanks, I'm using mionix sargas xl and i find the 90cm mouse pad is still small for my sensitivity. I'm also using ikea desk but its big enough to fit XXL on it. (ikea fredde)
Just to let you guys know, don't buy this for that price. Go to Newegg and search Perixx mouse pad and get the XXL if you want a giant one like this. No problems with pet hair or anything like that. I hand clean it once a year in the sink. Hardly no upkeep as far as keeping it clean. I've had mine for 3 years or so and it's just barely starting to show some light frayed edges where my mouse cord rubs across it. No biggy. It was like $10. I'm about to buy like 3 or 4 of them just in case they stop selling them for so cheap, or at all.
BobJones8PFill up a sink, bucket or some kind of plastic container with warm water, add some mild dish soap like Dawn, and let it soak for a couple of hours, at least, and then take it out and scrub it with a wash cloth. Rinse it clean (I use high pressure nozzle on my hose outside) and let it air dry over night.
If you have a power washer, you can simply lay it on the driveway outside and power wash the grime out of it.
