Product Description
The Nextorch E51 (Updated for 2019) can pump out up to 1,400 lumens and cast a beam as far as 200 meters—but you wouldn’t know it looking at its small stature. At just 5 inches long, it’s small enough to easily take on the go, which is easy given the included pocket clip Read More

solid build and specs
Very nice machining and finish. Crazy bright (an upgrade to my 'ancient' 100-lumen Fenix work light). Too bad it defaults to high, so I have to press it into my clothes while I cycle to med or low if I want to avoid blinding myself. Decent battery life but goes dead abruptly. Easy and fast enough to charge. Waterproof (only used in shallow water). Cooler coloration than I prefer, but if light is the priority this thing delivers. I had it turn on in my pocket accidentally and noticed when my thigh started getting very warm (if you press it to your skin on high, this sucker will burn you in a matter of seconds). A recessed switch would reduce accidental activation, I think. I like the size and heft, and have had no issues carrying it daily in my work pants. Overall I am duly impressed. Edited to add: The pocket clip is less impressive. It feels a little flimsy considering the size of the light, and has loosened up noticeably over time. Also the end of it is rather pointy, making it a little snag-prone. Still 4 stars.

Nearly perfect flashlight
PROs Three completely useful brightness levels. Low is find for getting around in the dark. Medium to illuminate any normal room. High is insanely bright and great for looking out into the distant trees, getting attention, etc. USB-C charging is convenient as the world moves in that direction. Comes with a wrist strap CONs None of these are very big but this is what I have noticed:
  • can't rest on its end cap because it isn't quite flat so you cant have it aim at ceiling by itself to light up a room
  • mode switching is done by tapping the single button on the end. My Fenix has a thumb button that lets you select mode
  • Always restarts with brightest setting. This combined with the above makes it a bit of shock to turn on and hard to preserve night vision after big initial blast.
Totally amazing well constructed light. I bought two.

Well made, very bright but easy to turn down for longer battery life.
I like just about everything about this light. Charging couldn't be easier, it's quite small for the brightness it is capable of, and even tho it's not cheap it seems to be a good value and should be in service a long time.

Coulda' stood on its' bum and had a few more variations on power. Good beam spread, even. No regrets.

I've got the older model, I'm still impressed by it!
Several modes, waterproof, HIGH lumen output and rechargeable. for 35 bucks! I'm buying the newer upgraded version too! I even bought one as a gift for my cousin!

Almost perfect use
Decently small so it fits into a winter coat pocket easily, and straightforward operation. Also happy to report charging it seems to be more straightforward with the USB-C cable. Gets really hot on full brightness after a few minutes however and it doesn't save the last brightness setting you were on which are minor downsides, but otherwise a solid flashlight.

I love this flashlight. It is very nicely engineered and as bright as the sun. At night it is unbelievably bright... bright enough that it can be used as a non-lethal weapon. It will blind someone long enough for you to (hopefully) get away from trouble. The clip is well placed and it hold it nicely in the corner of my pocket. I thought the charging light indicator was broken and I reached out to the manufacturer who informed me that you have to press the button while it's plugged in. It is a strange operation but now that I know, it works fine.

very bright, good battery life and rapid recharge. it's an excellent flash but too bulky and heavy for pocket carry.
