I also expected it to come with a battery. A bit disappointed for the price. I do with there was a reflector cap to go in the lantern end. I will probably make something that will work. Will make it function as a lantern much better by blocking and redirecting the light through the diffuse lantern.
TsanguineJust double checked and sure enough one of the images contains a battery. Pretty sure everyone expects a battery when it is advertised in the images. I've ordered a number of drops and this is the first one that has put a bad taste in my mouth.
I just received LR12 - I was expecting it to include a battery. The description includes a picture of a battery - not as good of a deal as I thought it was.
Is it too much to ask for better descriptions? Why not put the various modes and run times, heck just copy paste it from Nitecore's site. I hate having to google simple stuff such as specs. And while I'm picking bones, where stuff is made. I know just about all lights are made in China, and Nitecore is a chines made brand, but with knives and other products it is not clear cut.
I have the smaller LA10 model that uses AAs and it's a nice little light. The diffuser is clever and useful.
If this came in a neutral white / high CRI version I'd get one. I'm sure it will eventually show up like it did for the LA10.
(I don't think this comes with a battery, despite the picture showing a random Nitecore battery.)
