The Opus #1S is a mastering quality sound (MQS) audio player engineered to bring listeners high-definition and high-resolution sound on a portable scale. A step up from Opus #1, it features two CS43198 DACs released by Cirrus Logic in 2017—one manages the left channel and one manages the right channel—to create a more spacious sound with higher resolution. Based on modern Android operating systems, the Opus #1S supports bit-to-bit decoding and a wide variety of audio formats. With impressive outputs of 3.4Vrms (balanced) and 3.1Vrms (unbalanced), this player packs powerful sound into a 6.7-ounce package that’s not even 4.5 inches tall. Use Ultra Power Saving Mode to keep Opus #1S going for a week on a single charge.
