For those who are confused or complaining, it’s VERY common for studio monitors to be priced individually.
Also, these monitors are a SOLID value at their MSRP of $134 (each) and are a GREAT value at $100. And Drop is not the only place they are available for that price.

Do a search on Amazon for Monitors. The OVERWEENING MAJORITY are shown and priced as PAIRS.
Same is true of shoes—explain that coincidence!!!
RayFYes, low-end (or smaller) monitors are frequently sold in pairs because only one of them is active. That said, as a professional musician for nearly 30 years, I have never bought studio monitors sold as a pair…
And comparing shoes to speakers is just silly.

Oh really?
So you’re suggesting this offering is a high-quality monitor and those sold on Amazon (in pairs) are lower quality? Sounds a tad presumptuous on your part—even “silly.”
By the way, I’ve been wearing shoes far longer than 30 years, and I always buy them in pairs—same way I ALWAYS buy my monitors.
RayFI’m not sure why you’re so obsessed with shoes or why you continue to group them in the same category as near field studio monitors. It’s like comparing apples and pillows. They serve completely different purposes, so the comparison is useless. This particular comment section is supposed to help people understand and decide whether or not a purchase of the PreSonus E5 would benefit them. I was being helpful by sharing information. And I stand by my initial sentiment: they sound great, and for $100 each are a great value.
If you want to be helpful, head over to the JC Penny comment section and tell everyone about your expensive shoes. Someone there may actually care.
autoMATTicHa, well said. I go to the swap meet and get single shoes all the time!!
No, I’m kidding. Shoes have nothing to do with monitors, at all. Lol. But the moron felt dumb so he ran with it. Trying to be funny... and failed. I’ve seen monitors sold as pairs, by them selves or in bundles. Both high end and low end. Had me a pair of some expensive Mackies in the 2000s that cost me like $800 for the pair. Huge. They both had power input but only 1 I believe had the volume knobs on back. But both had the 3 eq switches I think... pawned them after a year, so I don’t really remember. Hate myself for that one. But, “COCAINE is a hell of a drug.” I was immature and in my 20s so, “Party on Wayne”.
RayFMy “party on Wayne” should’ve done it. I know your just a troll that has nothing else to do, besides give cigarettes to babies, but my profile pic should be enough also… Back To The Future. Doc. With my face. Later loser

My advice: next time stay in school.
It's You're (as in you are fond of cliches, aren't you?), not Your (as in, your English teacher just called and she's pissed!).
RayFah man, typing too fast caused me to make, one of the most common typing errors… bummer. I’m still debating on if I should go to town and devote all my attention towards you or not. Me and my friends have a special set of skills… tech friendly we are. Your teacher just called me, he said to “teach you a lesson.”
RayFSorry kid, I gotta life. I work, I’m a parent. I do things with my life, while you troll away on Drop reviews, lol. Plus this site isn’t where I spend my time online.
