QSP’s Copperhead folding knife takes its name from the copperhead snake, a type of pit viper known for its affinity for biting. While this folder may not sport the red and brown scales found on the real copperhead, its bite certainly packs a punch. Made with a 3.5-inch 14C28N stainless steel blade, this knife has enough size for most daily tasks, and takes a good edge. The liner lock ensures the blade locks securely, while a ceramic ball-bearing mechanism and thumbstud ensure it flies open fast when called upon. As for the handle, it’s made of black G-10 with a noticeable ridge down the center of each scale. This not only adds a streamlined look, but makes it nice and comfy in the hand. Perhaps a nod to the snake it’s named after, the handle has an orange ring around the pivot for a touch of flair.
