These are comfortable once you break them in. I enjoy wearing these around the house and on walks. Originally i bought the single layer, before I knew the double layer existed. Bought the double layer because I wanted the extra support and Im glad I did. Now I don't want to wear the single layer any more.

Once they're broken in, which consisted mostly of the strap rubbing the space between my toes raw, these are amazing sandals. I also waterproofed them prior to wearing to hopefully help them last even longer than their reputation suggests.

Arrived intact and on time. Seemed to be high quality. However, my first walk around town left my feet bloody and blistered from friction. I actually had to take them off during my walk home because they were so painful.
Maybe it's me and not the sandals. But if you read any other reviews describing this issue. I would not buy.
