This is a great pen...though there are few issues: 1/ The ad says it is made of brass, however, it doesn't really feel like brass..although it seems like pretty fine metal and no issues with the build quality whatsoever...possibly copper inside..no plastic for sure... 2/ There is a spring embedded inside the barrel of the pen to support the ballpoint pen refill...However while using converter the end of converter gets stuck in the spring and when you try to turn and open the barrel with the ink inside..the stuck converter end pushes the piston leading to annoying ink leakage. This is a design problem...I hope they would have not embedded the spring inside the barrel but simply have put a loose spring in the front...I haven't been able to use the converter yet and using the fountain pen version with cartridges...Any suggestion to overcome this welcome..

elimelendezI'm so happy this shipped! i'm so looking forward to getting my Regal Hadrian!
One complaint though--MUST you use DHL to ship? I live in Southeastern PA, about 25 outside of Philadelphia, and the package is shipping from Edison, NJ, about 1.5 hours from me by car. DHL, naturally, is saying it will take 10 DAYS to ship to me. They are notoriously SLOW. Please use another shipper in future--it's not like you're not charging us for shipping.

Why do companies think people want pens adorned with fake plastic "jewels"? This pen was very appealing until I saw that. It instantly dropped into the "cheap toy" category, regardless of how well it writes. Almost grabbed a previous regal drop, until I noticed a similar gaudy jewel on it, this time on the top of the cap.

cam94z28Agreed, that is also the main reason why I'm not even considering this drop.
Fake diamonds are just so cheap/gimmicky looking. (that being said, I find overuse of real diamonds kind of tacky/unpleasant too)

cam94z28Apparently it's Swarovski. Still not a real jewel, but a crystal by a premium brand.
It might not share a bed with my "serious" pens, but for the price I admit I bought in.

Bulk order shipped! The vendor informed us that the group's order was picked up and is on its way to our warehouse in New Jersey. Based on the tracking provided, the order is scheduled to arrive on 12/28.

As soon as the group's order is ready at the vendor's location, they will send the bulk shipment to our warehouse in New Jersey where our warehouse team will break it up into individual orders and ship them. The current estimated ship date from our warehouse is 12/29.
