Rike Knife has quickly earned a reputation for its precise machine work, and the newest edition of the 1508s folder raises the bar yet again. Producing an integral handle frame—in which a pocket is created for the blade by removing material from a solid bar of TC4 titanium—is an impressive feat of engineering to begin with. Now Rike has upped the ante by integrating the stop pin into the frame, eliminating all hardware that connects the two sides of the knife aside from a single bolt inserted from the clip side of the frame. The Rike Knife won’t disappoint in blade material, either. It’s got a 3.25-inch clip-point made from M390 Bohler steel—a fine-grained, easy-to-sharpen alloy that’s extremely resistant to wear and corrosion. Thanks to the ceramic ball-bearing washers, it flies open effortlessly with a push on the flipper. Though slim in profile and crafted from titanium, the knife's strong integral frame has a solid feel in the palm. Use the titanium clip for right-handed tip-up carry.
