A much smaller version compared with Rike Knife’s other Thor models, this 5.5-inch frame lock is a solid backup knife or gentleman’s folder. Everyone that's complaining about the size and cost: it's an integral framed knife, made from premium materials! If you know knives.... it's a good deal. Do some research on what this knife is and what it's made from, check prices and.... it's a good deal. You may not like the size, blade or handle shape and sure if you don't like those things it's not for you but for what the knife is.... it's a good deal
Just buy the Lynx or the Ferum Forge Falcon, or even Gent if you like knife of this size. This is just not worth the price, and the brands aren't really more reputable..
massdrop01Never heard of the Lynx, but the Falcon and Gent are both over 2.5 inches of blade length which is a legal cutoff in some jurisdictions and many government facilities. Higher end material folders that are sub 2.5" are few and far between.
Alright.. now I'm gonna sound like a hypocrite.. this blade fits in my EDC criteria.. but goddamn is this little knife pricey!
@Omniseed sell me this sub 3" Rike knife.. I mean I've dropped some coin on a Spyderco Mini Native and a GMF1 with Elmax steel.. but I don't really see the value in this drop. Over $150 for a knife this small doesn't seem reasonable to me.
akapabsIt is an integral framed knife. I'm personally not in knife production but can see that the cost will be more for an one piece handle. I have a few Rike knives and I love them all. At this price point for an integral knife, manufacturerd through a well established knife company, I'm in.
I have one gave it to my wife to keep in purse, she uses it in situations were her pink pm 2 might scare people around her, materials and workmanship are outstanding,it is an integral, but it is not worth the price 120.00 would be more realistic.
I totally understand your viewpoint and respect it,I’m a small stature man5’7 with little b*tch hands so I definitely lean too small.i have kettlebell 1.9,lauch4 1.9.humminbird&the rike.
All my fav edc knifes lean towards small, massdrop falcon, gent, terzouola compact tactical folder, booze blade smoke, protech brend.i think all of these are under 3.3”.good thing is there is a knife for everyone’s personal taste.Peace
marcusAntoniusany proof to back up your bs, or is this one of those typical internet rumours that get repeated ad nauseam for no reason other than stupidity?
