This is a simply awful product. A reviewer below compared it to a potato chip. More like a serrated blade. It is quite simply, unusable. Maybe if I sand it down and re-varnish it. . . as should have done before delivering it. Worst purchase I've made here.

Just received mine, and I have to say it's more than a little disappointing. The surface is rough, grainy, and generally has the same texture as a potato chip. It feels light, cheap, and flimsy, and it will probably come apart from the weight of my wrists alone. The bumps also mean that the rubber pads don't stick as securely onto it, so they'll probably come off soon enough too.

The pictures make it look like a semi smooth finish. Well let me tell you, the grain in these wrist wrests ( I bought two in different sizes) is completely bumpy, like as much as it possibly could be. Hand split wood is smoother than this. I could get a piece of scrap wood and make music on these things they are so bumpy. It neat looking, and grippy on your wrists, but ITS NOT AT ALL WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE IN THE PICS.
