I was happy to see that pcb on this site until I saw it don't have bluetooth/wireless connectivity.
It was that close to be my brother's gift but now it will be only a product I may give to myself for no reason...
AP88This one is specifically made to be without Bluetooth. The original already has Bluetooth on it. Why not go to their website directly and buy that one?
Drew-StyloI saw them on Epomaker and almost bought it but the shipping cost turn me off on that offer and others I saw around the same time failed in the same manner.
I tried to ignore Aliexperss at the time because my familiy had a bad experience with the quallity of the offered products but after I read your comment, I searched and saw that it seems to be the most official way to buy Skyloons keyboards but the prices are steeper then I remembered them to be.
I guess that I will wait until the prices for shipping and/or manufacturing will go down on that category or after I found a way to get a budget for it, I will settle for a cheap logitech membrane keyboard for the time been, at least it won't be so urgent to find good looking keycaps with Hebrew layout for my keyboard (btw, I have an old poll for it in this site that was still opened last time I checked: https://drop.com/vote/I-want-good-Hebrew-layout-keycaps ).
Fair warning, if this is running the same firmware as the Skyloong "Epomaker" GK96 (and no reason to believe it isn't) that firmware is buggy garbage that disconnects and freezes almost daily for me. Stay away.
like Antibimmer said, the Glorious V2 pudding caps work EXCEPT for the enter key. The enter key from the LOOP V2 set I got first worked, so I have a mixed batch going on. Though, tbh, I think the two sets are sourced from the same supplier, so the quality is exactly the same. Just sucked that I needed two full sets
I don't know if this will apply to this 96% board, but Skyloong's 60% board has an issue I've not seen on the few other boards I own.
At least on their 60% board, modifier keys do not carry over between layers. Meaning, if you press and hold ctrl and then try to move to another layer to finish whatever shortcut you're typing, ctrl will be forgotten. You have to first switch layers and then press ctrl (which of course has to be mapped on the layer you are switching to!). This was a frequent issue for me at the beginning due to my arrow keys being on ijkl on second layer.
It's an issue that I pretty easily overcame with a little practice to rewire my muscle memory but it's something I wish I was aware of beforehand.
