Pretty much a hidden gem as it doesn’t appear as much at first look. Once I received mine, I put it to work and it has held up doing a superb job for months now. Well made, handy, yet simple to use user friendly tool. I have used it to sharpen all of my different knives from Pocket EDC folders, to tactical folders, tactical fixed blades to my standard kitchen utensils, of various blade edge configurations. Works extremely well even with the fold out rod that I use to tune up my serrated edge blades (I even used it to hone the chainsaw links on my power chainsaw a few times in a pinch. The only con I have is it is a bit small for my hands but the work around is super doable/learnable. Love the pocket clip as it facilitates carrying on your person so it’s Always there when you need it handy.
Very good. Can you buy replacement ceramic and carbide sharpening blades, or do you have to completely replace the whole sharpener?
Thanks Wayne Benney (Australia).
Would be nice to have clip on other side too. Right now carbide tip is up if clipped to pocket. Just waiting to make contact with something going in and out of my bag.
Love the shape and form. The belt clip is actually usable. The scales are grippy without being obnoxious. This is perfect for keeping my knives sharp when field dressing moose and caribou. Loop 550 cord through the lanyard hole so you don't lose it in the muskeg. Sharpener cleans up in a jiffy. The Smith's PP1 Sharpener makes me consider, in the future, leaving the larger, heavier sharpener and steel at home.
