May not fit
Wanted new headphones and heard great things. Got them, tried them on, and... they hurt. The size, clamping force, or something were making these super uncomfortable. Since they are not a Drop product, they could only be exchange for a replacement. Luckily, they fit my wife, so she has been using them.

I prefer my HD58x for music but I like the dt990 for gaming more. Music wise it’s still a good performer.

TBH, I heard that 990 has a lot of treble, but not that much at least I think. I use it with clarett 2pre 3rd Gen

Best headphones I've used
these are my first pair of say audiophile headphones and they are amazing I don't have anything to compare them to as they are in a completely different league than all the other headphones I've ever owned

Very comfy and a clean sound
I have heard these headphones have overbearing highs. Personally, I can't use the descriptor 'overbearing' but the higher frequencies are prevelent. Prevelence shouldn't be considered a negative because these headphones are CLEAN.

Very crisp overall,
But too crispy for high pitch.
Low-mid pitches are good, fine,
Every song is like.. well distinguished with this headphone.
And personally, the headphone tension is too high for me, uncomfortable.. Maybe this is because I used to have other pairs that were tooo comfy
