Great value
I bought these as my first pair of audiophile grade headphones. The open back sounds great, and the fidelity is even better. I paired them with a Schitt Magni Unity DAC/amp combo, and for around $350 I have a really decent setup. My only complaint is I wish that the cable was removable, but other than that, they're perfect for my use case at this price point.
I like these headphones, they’re comfortable and sound great if you can drive them. The one drawback is that the cable isn’t balanced, nor is it modular so you could swap in balanced cables, which would make them easier to drive on protable amps especially.
So I immediately modded these to a balanced configuration. Now they run much more efficiently on my FIIO amp.
If you’re able to drive them, they have a clean sound with great detail and punch. They sound great and I can listen to them for hours. The head band is metal so you and can adjust the clamping force to your comfort.
Wanted new headphones and heard great things. Got them, tried them on, and... they hurt. The size, clamping force, or something were making these super uncomfortable. Since they are not a Drop product, they could only be exchange for a replacement. Luckily, they fit my wife, so she has been using them.
squid08I had similar problem with the DT770, made my ear lobes sore. When the left earcup failed to stay connected to the headband sent them back for refund (AMZN). I did like the sound.
