the colors are pretty accurately shown in the images so make your own decision on the colors.
the only thing i don't like about these caps are the texture but the texture is to be expected and is the same as other tai hao caps.
I got this because i wanted something that allows RBG on the letters (not many available). Its a pretty decent set, the spacebar was slighty wrap but was fixed with some force =p. If u can get around that then its a pretty good set for the price.
Tai Hao quality went down hill. There are dirty marks and wrapping on many of the caps. This is the 3rd Tai Hao keycaps I ordered with this issue. I would not buy from them again.
Every key arrived, most in excellent condition. I even got some extras, including a damaged yellow 7 key -- I can't use it (because damage) but I do like the texture, so I'm going to look into getting a set in the future.
These keycaps feel lighter than the CTRL's stock keys. They have minimal texture (I'm not docking stars for that, though I do miss my original keycaps for that reason) and are thin enough that there is a ton of light bleed around the many of the symbols on the keys, which is kind of distracting (and a little ugly imo) but I like the sound of the lighter keycaps -- sharper, and a touch higher. (Except for the space bar -- it sounds almost squishy? I'm not too sure what's going on with that. Speaking of the space bar...)
My space bar arrived damaged: one corner has some dark scratches on it, and it's pretty noticeable. Some of the keycaps (most notably Del and J) sit noticeably crooked. It's kinda weird.
Another complaint I have is the notable style change between the alphabet keys, the bottom row modifiers, and the numbers and F keys. It feels a bit frankenstein, as if everything's been pieced together from other sets, except the color ties everything together. A little weird... I would have liked for the numbers to at least match the letters, but alas.
All that being said? I really enjoy the colors and I would totally recommend these keycaps on that alone. I knock off a star because of the wonky way some of my keys sit and the damaged space bar, and I knock off another star because of the light bleed... but honestly, they work, they sound decent, they look great (from afar) and they're a fun addition to my workspace. I'd probably buy them again, tbh.
Just got it delivered and installed. Tasty looks and feel. Love it. If you have a privilege to own ALT (my fav keyboard hands down) this fits like a glove and give it a very high end typing experience. Very well made caps. My brown switches have a new life. Well done Tao. You got yourself another follower. Kudos to Drop on timely delivery. (Never expected to say that)
