looking great! just wish the text could be cut all the way through (know this requires some complicated stuff, but if you come out with it next year ill buy it :))
I have a set in black. They look, feel and sound great. The finish is uniform across the entire set, they aren't as slippery as expected and the board has a deeper sound to it.
Two big negatives, no homing bumps and only alphas and arrows are available.
Bought the original silver ones last summer and the sound aren't worth it. I took the off after 2 months of use. The feel was really weird and sound was very different. Now I have a set of $90 stainless steel keycaps in a box without the intention of them being used again.
Thanks for the review. I'm hesitant about buying this set myself for this exact reason.
I had a set of zinc keys before, which were a lot lighter than Stainless Steel and I could only barely live with the change.
100% going to buy these when they come out on @m@zon, been using the silver WASD for years now and have always wanted a full (or at least alpha) set in black
3xplosiv0how do they hold up with years of use? any noticeable wear and tear on them at all? and how do they feel temperature wise? if its colder in the house are they unpleasantly cold compared to a standard plastic cap or can you really feel the temp difference? my assumption is they would have a pretty noticeable difference, but is it to the point of being distracting or whatever is the question.
the quality is great, but the F and J key are missing the position bumps. I keep having to look down to the keyboard to know where my fingers are placed on the keyboard.
