fattahrazzaqghanimughniYes, or shopmate, which is an Auspost forwarding service. Note that as of July 1, GST will be charged on ALL imports regardless of cost (no $1000 threshold anymore). That will just about kill the benefit of most US purchases from AUS.

After the shipping, this is no cheaper than from other websites. At it's lowest price is 2-3$ cheaper ? (That's not including other promotions - like a $10 referral you get with backcountry) The weight is impressive though - 12oz for the regular for an R value of 3.2 vs the Klymit ultralight pad which weighs 17.4 oz with R 4.4 . That's ~ 2/3rds the weight. (for ~twice the price)

Good call I completely forgot about the Massdrop x Klymit Ultralight as you and Danny pointed out. That pad at that price is a steal. However I agree with your assessment on the XAir from Campsaver. That pricepoint was too good to pass up.

The specs listed here are wrong. Here it says the regular is 16oz but it's not, it's 12oz. The large is 16

Thought this was a fantastic deal til I selected regular and the price shot up. Didn't join because of that- I think you guys should advertise the medium option not this "starting at" small price.
I've been wanting this pad for a while now. I hiked over half the AT in 2016 with the Klymit static v (3 repairs and still rockin)- could never get my hips to not touch the ground when laying on my side- envious of my friends who had the neoair. Thought I was gonna get a killer deal on it only to find out I've been slightly mislead. Pretty disappointing massdrop. I miss not too long ago when the options on massdrop were somewhat limited because they only put up killlller deals- ones you couldn't pass up. $116 for the regular size? I can pass that right up. Its good, but not great. I want greatttt deals massdrop- I can find good deals just about anywhere if I look hard enough.

Easily my favorite of the 6 or so sleeping pads that I own. Warm enough for 3-season use. I only wish that they had a model that was wider and shorter. I'm 5'7", which I think is close to Americans' average height (looking at women and men together) so a 6' long pad is just wasted space and weight.

mkt42I wish they made a 25" wide pad at 66" and 72" for all of us. In the meantime, a lot of people have cut down their Long pads to their desired length and resealed them with an iron. It voids your warranty though, so be sure to thoroughly test your pad for defects before you do this!!

I'm waffling on this one, with only 10hrs left. Just bought the XTherm on its last drop and it is an awesome pad. The original sticker shock kept me away, but now I'm sold on the X series pads. Is it worth it to have both pads?

Totally agree.
For colder place, pick the xtherm.
For warmer place, pick the xlite.
I would pick for a half sized closed-cell egg-form pad to going grammie ultra-lighter, also sacrificing some comfort.
I would also suggest the seatosummit as it is the most comfortable inflatable sleeping pad I've ever tried. While also it's less warm than xtherm.
I wonder, why Massdrop never drop the Seatosummit products? Some of their goods are awesome!

NamethI understand your post is 8 weeks old, but in case others have the same question I'm adding my two cents :-)
For winter camping I have the Xtherm MAX Long, which is 25" x 78" iirc. I'm a small 5' 3" woman but I like extra width of the long and the lack of taper in the MAX series -- don't have to worry about my sleeping bag touching the snow :-) Most of my cold weather trips (nights below 25F/-4C) I haul my gear on a pulk so gear weight is less if an issue.
For 3 season backpacking (nights above 25F/-4C) I take a women's NeoAir, which is a teensy bit warmer than the regular (aka mens). The weight difference for me justifies having both pads.
I do plan on buying a NeoAir LONG, cutting it down to 60-66" so I can have a 25" pad. After that I will sell my women's pad. I originally bought an Xtherm tapered long, to cut down, but realized for winter I wanted the MAX, and for 3 season the non-Xtherm series was warm enough, so the added weight of Xtherm did not make sense.
