vaisasJudging by the whopping 8 units sold in 2 weeks, I’ll assume this product was a flop. Looks like a generic “custom” iem. I’ll pass, stick to a reputable brand.

League544Reputable brand? You're looking right at one dude. Toneking's other offerings have proved very worthy such as the T88K or the 'budget' Nine Tail.

League544If that's what you choose to believe, then it's sad to say that you are living inside your own bubble. If you actually did considerable research on Toneking that didn't just fit your confirmation bias, you'd realize how wrong your opinions are. But please, do tell me where all the "terrible reviews" are, I'm quite intrigued to read them (as if there were many reviews to begin with).
And before you blatantly accuse me as a "Toneking salesman" (LOL!), I'll have you know that I personally (and proudly) own both the Toneking Nine Tail and recently the T88K, which the latter is a hefty $300+ IEM.
Again, if you actually did your research on either of these IEMs, you wouldn't be saying claptrap.
Granted, there aren't many reviews on these IEMs to begin with, but at the very least read Prime Audio's review on the Nine Tail. And if you still remain skeptical, then read my own review.
As for the T88K, they outperform every single IEM I have ever owned in terms of mids. I own the Kanas Pro, Shouer Tape, BGVP DMG, LZ A6, Kbear TRI I3, just to name a few within the $100-250 range, and none of them will ever reach the resolution or realism that the T88K's mids offers. The Nine Tail's mids are the same story, only that they lack the resolution from the T88K. I have not done a review for them yet, but Joker's review pretty much sums up my sentiments.
Really, pretty much all Toneking IEMs have highly competent mids. That is their forte and their primary selling point. If you buy a Toneking IEM, you are buying for its sweet luscious mids. The only exception to that is their planar IEM.
And as for QC, well I'd hate to break it to you but you can't expect perfect QC on any chi-fi IEM. The Shouer Tape for sure was notorious for bad QC. If anything, the only bad thing about Toneking IEMs are its reliance on MMCX plugs. They should've ditched that shoddy interface and opted for a 2-pin connection instead. Other than that, they are as premium-ly built as any other resin-shell IEM of a similar price range.
In conclusion, you are wrong. Sure, you can make the old "sound is subjective!" argument, but at least I am coming from real experience with two Toneking IEMs. What experience do you have with Toneking? Judging by your other recent comment, I am guessing none.

Should I exchange the PC38X for better headphones?
I bought the PC38X headphones FOR GAMING and they are great, but I have NO use for a Microphone since I don't do competitive gaming and I was wondering if there were better headphone options at a similar price without a headphone, where (presumably) more of the cost was put into making it sound better. I also find that my PC38X don't get quite as loud as I would like and I was wondering if a cheap amp like the iFi Go link would draw a little more volume out of my phones. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BN6MM822?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details I went with the PC38X since it was considered the best bang for buck headphones. Looking for a gaming/content audio setup
Hello! I'm looking for recommendations on audio setups. I'd be planning on using it mostly for gaming. Preferably I'd like a pair of large closed back headphones since I have a big head and jaw. I'd also like to hear myself through my mic with mic monitoring. As far as budget goes, I don't really have one. But under 600$ would be nice. I can go higher if needed. The audio setup would be connected to a high performance PC. Thank you in advance for any recommendations!

$10 Drop Coupon Email not sent?

Hello, I just joined, primarily for the audiophile products. Looking at purchasing the NHT C3 speakers for our new living room. Space is about 15 feet wide by 33 long and they will fire long ways. Space is just for general listening, music room with all equipment is downstairs, so hoping they will fill it with sound nicely. Cheers.
