Haha I was wondering the same thing! Why have a conversation function if you don’t actually use it to converse with your customers?

HollypopsExactly. I think its easier to ignore us. I've noticed that a lot on here unfortunately. It's a great place to buy stuff but it's very difficult to talk to anyone or get answers. I really don't understand why such a small drop for needles would be so hard to ship to anywhere but the USA. Or is it just Australia, and there's a reason?? Makes you wonder....Makes me wonder lol

Quick update for the group. We are in contact with the vendor and awaiting updated shipment estimates from them. We have a call scheduled first thing tomorrow morning and should get a bit more visibility in regards to when we can expect these in our warehouse.
We will update the group as soon as these are on the way. Currently we expect that these will be in our warehouse inline with the expected ship date listed in the drop description page.

Hi @Hollypops, @SydneyPaula, Sorry for the delay in responding. I've been busy working on sourcing new items for the community and sometimes miss these comments. This drop was originally set up with no overseas shipping due to our vendors requirements. We will be able to change that for the next drop though. Once this one ends, you can select Request and be alerted when it's back on the site.

Quick update for the group. This drop is on track to ship out by the estimated shipping date of 4/9. The bulk order will be coming in from Japan which is why we had a longer lead time on this drop.
We will remain on contact with the vendor and keep the group updated throughout the fulfillment process.

Something I always try to do before I join in on an online purchase is know how much i pay locally, ( Australia) , if i can get it locally , even in same country the postage needs to be considered, and so how much I am willing to pay....these sewing needles are just what I have been after for quite a while, and to get this range is magical. This drop here on massdrop is a real winner for me, even with our falling Aussie dollar to the US$. Thank you for this wonderful buy!!!

I was going to buy but when I went to pay it was more expensive when you changed it from American dollars to Australian dollars. I think you should show the price in Australian dollars as well as American it really throws you

balirosesI agree that it would be helpful to have local currency, but it wouldn't work since you're not charged until the drop ends and the conversion rate would change in the time between joining and paying, especially if you join a drop early on. People would then complain that when they joined the price was listed at $45, but they ended up being charged $50 because the dollar slumped in the meantime. I joined a drop the other day, and checking now, our dollar has gone down 1c already since (hope it goes back up!!).

I bought this drop and i use these needles every day and the pins seem to be the ones i grab first from my pincushion. The price is slightly cheaper than buying separate, but totally worth it when you add in convenience of being able to get all of the different types in one bunch.

Love these needles but a little word of warning to check carefully when opening . One of the tubes in my delivery had a loose cork and the needles spilled into the cardboard box in transit. Four needles missing out of 8 so hope no one got a nasty surprise along the way. Perhaps placing the packets in a bag might help prevent this in future.
