I backpacked these all last season and they are great. Right at the weight to support ratio I am looking for. Best hiking boots I have ever had. Only downside I have noticed is that the suede does stay wet for a while.
Depending on your size you can find the same boots for the same price on Amazon with free shipping. This helps if you need to return them for whatever reason.
Love these women's boots in GTX. Any reason they are not being offered?
As for sizing, you do generally need to size up. I wear 8.5-9 in a regular shoe/9.5 in running shoes/9.5 in these hikers.
I have had a pair of the gtx for many moons... have worn them hard and it’s time for another pair. I really like mine. The parents dog chewing them gives me a good excuse😀
I agree with the other comment- I’ll get 1/2 a size bigger than I normally do.
looks like I can’t get the grey ones GTX option at the checkout 🤔? ?
..... edit- just do postage to Australia and converted to oz $. Will keep looking😳
I have the Breeze II GTX. Very well constructed and comfortable shoes. I got the wide in my size, but should have gone with a ventilated regular width 1/2 size up for backpacking in the mountains, because my foot moved around a lot in the wide and the GTX didn't breathe well enough for hot weather, I had forefoot blisters and toe banging issues, but that's on me for purchasing the wrong size, width, and type. Still keeping these good-looking shoes around for work in cool, wet weather. Choose well and I think you'll be happy.
WooHooo! Size 15, finally! Thanks!
these are great boots- I’ve been using one or another version since 2009 in US, France, Spain, Portugal, Ecuador from sea level to 14k with pack weights of 0 to 45 lbs. great all around boot w/excellent traction & ankle support.
