As mvrk10256 said, I'm just curious about how the $50 credit is going to work. Will it automatically be applied to our next purchase? What if our purchase is less than $50; will it all be used up, does funds from that be partially used, or do we need to make a purchase over $50 for it to be used?
I'm upset about the whole thing, but quite honestly I feel that MD is doing everything in the right way. Working in retail for years now, at multiple places, both big box and small chains, I understand that this is the right thing to do. Yes, people will be pissed, that's inevitable (as we all can see); what needs to be realized is that MD isn't really at fault here. They were told something, and they told us that, too. When it was realized that what they were told was very unclear, and not correct, then they moved as quickly as they could to fix it as best they can.
Straight up, this sucks, but it's not like MD saw the M-100, saw that they weren't legit, and then shipped them out to us.
