Available on Massdrop before anywhere else, this new version of the Code features 65-gram Zealios switches for a satisfying feel on the keys. A no-nonsense mechanical keyboard, Weyman Kwong (of WASD Keyboards) and Jeff Atwood’s Code delivers through minimalist style and unmatched utility. It illuminates ABS plastic keys with white LED backlighting and seven different brightness levels. And if you’re key-mashing, you’re good for six-key rollover using the USB interface, or N-key rollover with PS/2.
Note: At checkout, choose between the TKL and fullsize (+ $10) keyboards. This batch will ship before the keyboard is available anywhere else. Quantities of each keyboard are limited to 40 units.
Underneath, the board is supported by a steel backplate, dual-layer PCB joints, and larger rubber pads to keep it intact and in place. The minimalist case has a textured surface, which reduces fingerprints, scratches, and dirt buildup. Plus, a row of DIP switches on the bottom allows you customize the keyboard setup to your unique preferences. The built-in onboard memory will remember them next time you plug in, too.
