The WE Knife Scamp is unique for a couple reasons. First, it’s a slipjoint, which means it doesn’t actually lock. Pull the blade out manually and it will rest in the open position thanks to the detent. Next is the aesthetic. Like an ancient Egyptian artifact dug up from the ground, the Scamp is baroque and ornate. You won’t want to use it for anything too demanding, but the 3-inch S35VN stainless steel blade is strong enough for most daily tasks. The handle, made from titanium, is slim and easy to carry—in fact, the whole package weighs less than 2 ounces. Carry it in a breast pocket or a fifth pocket on your jeans, or give this beauty as a gift.
