Ditch canned air containers and go for the good stuff: the X3 Hurricane is a handheld, cordless alternative to disposable cans of air. Built around a variable speed system, the device offers as much or as little power as you need, whether you’re just cleaning up the desktop or you need to get deep inside the cracks of your favorite keyboard Read More
Lots of air, Loud as all get out. Short batter life/lifespan. On a full charge, i maybe get 10 minutes of use out of this thing. I have owned it about a year. It seems like it lasted much longer at first.
When pulling the trigger my units stops and starts and stops and never reaches full speed. I have to constantly pull the trigger, then release and hope it will work. Every now and then it will fire right up, and at those times it works great
I'm about one year of use into this product and it still works well for PC, desk and, keyboard cleaning. Two things that the manual says that are something to note about it before purchasing. 1. The blowing force will get stronger after multiple charges. 2. Sometimes pulling the trigger will result in a "failed-start" where it just starts to spin up to begin blowing but stalls out. The manual recommends just keeping the trigger held down if this happens. It's a mild annoyance but doesn't happen enough to kill it for me. YMMV.
As an added bonus, I use it to deter my cat from doing unwanted things (playing with cords, scratching furniture, ect)
This Air compressor is "meh" at best. It claims variable speed, but it only has 2.. off and on.
Off is quiet... ON is painfully loud.
At "make your ears bleed" mode (also known as ON) it blows an OK amount of air but nothing special. If you live in the USA, there are MUCH better choices than this.
I do not live in the USA so this was my only choice for something that APPEARED to be good at a decent price.... but if I had known how ineffective and LOUD this thing is, I would have spent the money on a different air compressor.
To sum up everything:
-- It does OK at blowing air (not good or great by any means)
-- It only runs at full speed (all while still only managing to blow a mediocre amount of air)
-- It will damage your hearing (no joke... this thing literally HURTS my ears)
dbcherI also purchased it and gave it a few full charges as the paperwork that comes with it adds the disclaimer that it requires a few charges to reach the advertised strength.
Even with that, I've found it doesn't accomplish anything I need it to, which is generally cleaning up dust that managed to find its way in my keyboard, mouth and computer. Ultimately, It just makes noise and that feels like the most it accomplishes.
