The 8Bitdo FC30 Pro Gamepad features a flashy, vintage-inspired gold finish and a full button layout reminiscent of classic video game controllers—but the nostalgia stops there. The functionality is decidedly modern, with built-in Bluetooth so you can game anytime, anywhere, and compatibility with iOS, Android, Windows, and Mac devices Read More
I dunno if I was just unlucky or if this is a common issue with these as I did 0 research, but I bought one of these on here months and months ago and when it arrived the jack that you plug the USB chord into was broke and it would only recognize that the charger was plugged in when I wiggled it around and would only do it for a second at that...
Unfortunately I just was so over it after waiting so long for it to arrive that when this happened I never pursued any type of refund/replacement and looking back at it now I totally should have. Anybody else have this issue before and know of any type of fix? I got it solely to use it on my PC via the chord but even if I used it with my phone it'd end up just dying since it currently can't be charged..
StiffMyWiffBabyySame exact issue. Gotta hold the usb cable into the port while playing. My bluetooth doesn't work sometimes either and the only way ive been able to use this thing is by button mapping every game using joytokey. I wish it was plug n play and had more functionality with iOS. I think at one point they had some great software to interface with a tablet or whatever, but it was removed b/c of licensing or something. idk i just would like this to be easier to set up n use. If they had an app to help with connectivity and mapping I'd buy them all. Aesthetically i love it. Functionally its borderline broken.
looks the same, has the same name " 8Bitdo NES30 Pro or FC30 Pro Bluetooth Gamepad ", the link on my old order confirmation email even brings me back to this same page, as far as i know its the same?
daewootechweird, i thought they had just come out late last year. even bought one for my bro in law. *shrug*. sounds like you got a solid deal, then. :)
tyler256Just wanted to update. You have to update it to the most recent software. The whole process is pretty easy with a little bit of Googling. My controller works wonderfully on the switch now.
