Bought this as a surprise for my wife and she was ecstatic. These are her favorite needles and she says they allow her to fly through projects. Which is why I bought them, she needs to get a move on turning all that yarn into stuff. It's taking up too much space.

I was so excited about these needles, but was then terribly disappointed when I discovered during my first use that the junction where the needles meet the cords is not smooth and my yarn does not move smoothly over it! I cast on a project that used a cashmere/linen yarn, and the linen strand simply would not move over the junction without being manually moved over it using a fingernail and with considerable difficulty. And then the join came apart, dropping all my stitches. I contacted the Skacel website about my problem and was informed that they do not honor purchases through any website such as Amazon or Massdrop, only purchases through a local yarn shop. So I feel stuck with this rather expensive purchase of needles I cannot use - very unhappy and frankly a little hesitant to buy from Massdrop in future.
