Disappointed

Bad sign when I laughed upon listening to them for the first time. Waste of money, disappointed I can't return them. Read the negative reviews on head-fi to get an understanding of how these sound. Mid highs/treble are fatiguing, no warmth (poor lowmids), sounds are distant. But, mid bass is good. Connected them to my Schiit audio gear but EQ correction is the only thing that may redeem these... after spending too much time with EQ I just tossed them aside. I prefer a set of $18 earbuds over these.

Great value at the 99 USD sale price. Very comfortable with a unique ear lock mechanism. Bass and treble quality are good, but upper mids can be shout-y and fatiguing at higher volumes.

I recently got this IEM and I’m thoroughly impressed with its build quality. The body is solid and feels very durable. In terms of sound, it’s not heavy on the bass, but that’s actually a good thing as the sound is very well-balanced. Fabulous but need to be eq’d for longer sessions

A fellow member has written a review that articulates far better than I can just what great value these item’s are at the price. I use these with my Sony NW-ZX507 and they have a fabulous sound if, and only if, I eq the upper midrange. I also replaced the tips with Comply foam tips. my ‘serious’ iem’s are the Campfire Holocene which are fantastic with a high quality source and they rarely travel to work with me as too expensive to lose… So the S6 are my daily carry for music with the Sony and I can highly recommend them. https://www.audioreviews.org/akoustyx-s6-review-jk/

Great fit!

I've struggled to find a pair of iems that fit nicely and sound good, and bought these on an impulse admittedly. Turns out they are now my daily drivers now. Only complaint I will right is that people keep sneaking up on me, because they block out noise too well.
