For Precise Listening, Mixing, & Mastering

The latest iteration of the AKG K240 Sextett first introduced in 1975, the K240 is a classic, bang-for-your-buck headphone for musicians and sound engineers alike. The over-ear design and self-adjusting headband provide wearing comfort for long listening sessions, and the sturdy construction is built for the demands of a busy studio environment. These semi-open headphones deliver solid bass and clear, airy highs, and feature advanced XXL transducers with Varimotion diaphragms to ensure a wide dynamic range and accurate signal transfer. Finally, the K240’s impedance has been lowered to 55 ohms (compared to the Sextett’s 600 ohms), allowing it be more easily driven by less powerful sources.

To learn why the K240 is the choice of professionals the world round, check out this Head-Fi review.
