When they work, they are truly mediocre, but worse still, they rarely, if ever, play audio without 1-3sec long interruptions to the audio stream to one or even both earbuds.
I would LOVE a refund, but don't think that's a thing. The last 2 headphones I've gotten off drop make me want to quit using the service entirely, as things seem to have gone a long way down hill since the early massdrop days
The sound is alright. Nothing special, which is sad coming from A&D. Worst part, the right one does not hold a charge for longer than a minute even after staying docked overnight. If the charge wasnt an issue I may have kept them anyways just to have them, but I plan on returning them instead of replacing because I'd rather find a better set.
These Bluetooth IEMs are good quality for the price. You can get better sound, but for the money these connect quite well with middle of the road sound quality, but don’t expect stereophile sound quality. Keep expectations within reason. My wife is quite happy with these.
These are comfortable and convenient but sound terrible. The bass is way too boosted. It muffles and suppresses all other frequencies. In places where bass is missing, you can turn the volume up and get a halfway decent experience, but then the bass ruins it with all its boomy, flatulent glory. It’s not even pleasant bass that punches deep, rather a sad little fart that is both disappointing and uncomfortable. I have a hard time imagining anyone, even the bassiest and of bass-heads, will enjoy this.
These are by far the worst Bluetooth earbuds I have ever used. They dropped connection ten times in a single song, at which point I boxed em back up and am requesting a refund. Simply unacceptable. Shame on you Drop, these aren't worthy to be peddled here.
Overall, these are not worth the price. I've experienced occasional dropouts in audio, the bass distorts a little bit at any volume level, and I would describe the overall sound as dull and veiled. I'm playing lossless files off a microsd card with the foobar app on my phone. Not sure how much that helps since these don't support LDAC. For around the same price, you can get the earfun wireless buds or a refurbished pair of jabra 65t wireless buds, both of which sound much much better than these. I was hoping to have some sort of EQ option in an app, but there is no mention of anything like that in the manual. I'll be gifting these to a friend or family member less critical than me.
