The Artisan Cutlery Classic lives up to its name. Though the company has been producing plenty of forward-thinking designs of late, the Classic brings things back to a more traditional aesthetic, albeit with some characteristics you won’t find on anything in your grandfather’s bedside drawer Read More
I think this is exceptional for the price point. It's beautiful to look at, and will probably be the first knife I've purchased without the intent to use. Maybe I'll pick up the $60 version as a user
Very good and sharp knife out of the box. The damascus blade is good looking. Easy to flip open. Very heavy knife. Not super balanced, but that isn't something that puts me off very much. The grip material is very rough.
This is my first blade from Arisan Cutlery. Been wanting to try one for awhile now.
These are my opinions about the Classing Folding knife, YMMV.
First this is a heavy blade, weighing in at 5.875 oz.
The blade centering is way, way off, lightly touching the right liner.
The lockup is good @40%.
The G10 scales are too rough and it will be a pocket shredder.
The handle swell goes toward the back of the blade instead of the front, and it just feels "Wrong" in my hand.
The flipping action is mediocer at best and in all honesty, I'll never carry this blade and will move it on.
I may try another blade from Artisan, but ONLY if I can handle it first.
