Terrible sound and mediocre noise cancelation
I'm not a huge headphone snob but I have had $30 headphones sound better. And TaoTronics has better noise cancelation...

Great design and comfort but awful sound
The sound is very tinny and the vocals sound very ruffled and quiet compared to everything else. They do however have decent noise cancellation.

Good sound quality, quick build deterioration
After about a week of using the headphones on BT ANC on the bus, I began hearing a rumble in the left ear whenever the bus jumped. Soon it occurred every time I took a step. Now, I hear a slight rumbling on every movement and sometimes a small ring in the left ear. I’m not sure why this happens (maybe a piece came loose) but its really annoying. I know I made a big case of the issue, but really it doesn’t bother me much and the music and ANC are still pretty good.

Good price for the $200 range competition
Initial out of the box sound was just alright. After a 48hr burn in period the sound significantly improved. Definitely bass heavy with mid's and high's lacking alittle. Again, after the burn in period they did improve. Noise cancelling works fairly well. There are some frequencies that it can not account for so don't be surprised if you hear some stuff. Most of the outside sounds though were muted. It is comfortable on the ears and on the head and doesn't weigh too much. For a couple hours at a time this would be fine. Battery life seems to be right on with specs from the manufacturer. Overall, this is a solid headphone.

Pretty good, best NC I have tried so far.
The sound quality lacks a little bit compared to my previous daily driver the ATHM40x(wired version), but is good for bluetooth. The noise cancelling is standout though, and even when right next to a running engine sound is dampened to a significant degree. The loss of quality when you turn noise cancelling on is also fairly low, especially compared to some other products on the market. With that said I have noticed some issues with the controls, which seem to activate all on thier own sometimes. The issue seems very rare though, and half price is a good discount. Also... The description of this item said it would come in simplified packaging, but the one I got came in the original packaging with molded holder and everything. Maybe massdrop needs to update the description?
