I honestly don't get why anyone would pay for this. Smarter ways of getting there, either financially or from a quality perspective. I'm scratching my head with this one, but to each their own...
roborgThat's one option. My point was simply that I do not get why one would pay for this given the bluetooth technology, but hey...have at it. Buy up.
The Audioengine B1 is $189 on Amazon if you like :D
HemiSamYou have yet to actually enlighten us with the "smarter ways of getting there". that was just reviews of different devices that actually made this drop look like a good deal.
audibleI expect it is flying off the shelves given it's such a win with the audiophile community???
More power to those that want it or have bought it. Hope you get every dime's worth. Transporting via Bluetooth and converting in a mediocre DAC is not my recommendation, but hey...that's what makes the world go round.
HemiSamnobody said it was the be-all/end-all, nor did they say it was a bargain. It is one of the highest performing devices at the spec. I don't recommend nor would I ever use this as the sole source or consider it reference audio, it is, however, quite good and the range is superb.
I'm sorry Hemi, that your initial little knee-jerk comment caused you to look like such a douche, and your subsequent comments more so...clearly that's difficult for you. It was fun watching you backpedal, though.
HemiSamYeah...being wrong is tough. I love it when clowns like you feel the need to say you're laughing... Uh huh.
Btw... Smarter ways? Educate us, genius.
HemiSamHey wrongboy, you thought you could come up with something better...better range ...better sounding...and smugly dropped a link that showed how clueless you are. Now you're just impotently posturing because it's all you have. Yep, it's expensive...get over it, douche.
MotorradThe less expensive ones little man. That’s the reference. The price is high for what you’re buying. Youre making stuff up to cover your small pee pee.
MotorradHahaha. Hemi is having a tough time being wrong. Yep, back pedalling and changing the argument just because she's miffed about the price. I'm miffed about the price too, but I'm not such a prick as to begrudge someone who wants it. That's what it costs. Boohoo. That link was a joke.
HemiSamAnd which inexpensive one with the range and the dac and RCAs was that? ...thought so, wrongboy... Some people can pay for what they want, it shouldn't be so embarrassing for you that you can't afford it. Just get over it....and stop projecting; it's creepy.
MotorradPile on ladies, but you can buy a Yamaha bluetooth receiver for this kind of money with all kinds of outputs to put it into context. RCA's....really? Drop <$50 for a reasonably priced small footprint bluetooth receiver that comes with 3.5mm to RCA outs in the box. What have you lost in the way of sound quality when you're converting a bluetooth signal likely from a phone? The fact is this gem isn't selling for a reason and I'm wondering if you ladies are getting a kickback for shilling? Hopefully no one drinks the koolaid but if they do more power to them....no judging.
Get as aggressive as you like...hell go on some muscle car forums and they'll serve you up for lunch. But it is what it is. I'll leave you two lovers to it ...
HemiSamYou seem really worked up over this. I don't see anybody "shilling" just pointing out the obvious. You are hung up on the price and so what? that's what it costs and certainly the reason it's not "flying off the shelves". I happen to be looking for something with precisely these specs and the range is the biggest deal and I know there are cheaper ones with range but they don't review well. the range does not seem to matter to you as I notice you keep leaving that out. anyway, it would seem that you just want to be 'right', but you're not. You are probably also bent that it has been accurately been noted that you are a wanker.
Broodyoof. that was painful watching this hemi dips%#t go through the contortions to convince himself that his opinion has any validity at all. painful and hysterical.
