I hate giving bad reviews but I have to say this: these carabiners are the epitome of form over function. I mean they are well machined and beautiful, but that's about all they have to offer.
The spring mechanism in both the K80 and the K11 is weak. The K11 is a little worse. It's a shame when a 2 euro aluminium carabiner is far superior.
Both models have too much sideways play in the gate - it wiggles from side to side far too easily. After a few days of light daily use, the gate on the K11 became so loose I had to give up using it.
These carabiners are not good for their intended use - hanging keys from your belt loop. The gate and the spring seem so unreliable I can't really trust my keys to hang from one of these.
If you want an aesthetically pleasing titanium item, go ahead, buy one. If you need a serious tool for everyday use and endurance, look into cheaper and better alternatives.
JulleHi Julle, if these in your opinion, are unusable , please contact me at bauhauskeys@gmail.com, and I will see what I can do. I have sold thousands of both, and have less than 1% complaint, with ZERO complain of anyone having keys fallen out of their belt. I would like to know how the K11 became loose in a few days, when I have been using mine for a year and its still strong. There are of course limitation, to the 1 piece design, which allow the gate to have lateral movement, but in real world use, it is improbable that keys will fall out. In any case, I stand by my design, and take all feedback seriously. If a user says its useless, I just want to see why it is so, in their point of view.
Hi ArtSJC, also like Julle above, if this is something you regret buying, please contact me at bauhauskeys@gmail.com. Feedback like this is extremely rare for me, and I take to heart since I stand by my design, so if you feel that this not worth it, please let me know.

These are nice light EDC carabiners for keys, flashlights and really work better with larger diameter rings and hanging accessories like the TI-EDC 32mm UFO. I have many of the Tec Accessory UFOs and like them, but the Handgreys really can be loaded up with larger pill fobs, lights and even IEM cases. If you want the ultimate combo, get any one of the Handgreys, add their Knox Ti ring that is so light and high quality. Here's some pictures of some of my crazy

setups. The stellar Ti rainbow pill fobs are from Cielo and the great stainless steel fobs are from Gus Made, both companies should be selling here!

Mr Brain, I am happy someone else likes this, because everyone else thinks I am mad, including the wonderful manufacturers of these things :) The larger one is the TI EDC UFO 32mm, the smaller is the Tec Accessories UFO; if you just search using those terms, they will come right up :)

stevesurfYou are not mad. You are a God among mortals. This is your chain to the heavens! I'm trying to build mine to escape this mortal plane!
Thank you. I will look them up. I need them.

MSRP of $36, $33 drop price? That's not very Massdrop-y
I'll buy one for $15. Let's work that deal.

SynthfulIf you were more like the couple in the video, you'd jump at this deal. They spend all day playing with their carabiners or looking at carabiners online--silently sipping beer, and thinking about carabiners.

I've had one for years. It's fantastic and has held up well. AMA if your curious about it.

I've had one for over a year too and never lost a key. Only complaint is the bottle opener function is awkward as hell when you have keys attached.

splitbrainioI hear you. I've decided it's just a little shitty and that's okay. But hey, we always have a bottle opener in a pinch, right? Love it overall though.

I'd really appreciate if you guys didn't send out tracking numbers to your customers until the product has actually shipped. That's cool that you generated the shipping labels, but the numbers haven't been activated on the USPS side yet. Just something to think about in the future. :)

yokkenPretty sure those tracking number notifications are automated. I honestly don't see what the big issue is. People just seem to complain about everything these days.. if it's not getting tracking numbers soon enough, apparently people will complain about getting them too soon. Amazing.
yokkenHi Yokken,
Thanks for the feedback.
So what actually happens is the warehouse generates the labels for orders that are going out or will go out shortly and the tracking info is uploaded automatically. Generally, the tracking info will start updating fairly quickly, but there are instances were it does take up to 24 hours.
For the benefit of the community, we find that having tracking uploaded for outgoing packages is a good indicator that the order is about to be on it's way even though the tracking page isn't necessarily updating yet.
Please let us know if we can be of further assistance.

I love the simplicity, I love the design, it's lightness... don't combine this with the key rings that come with the FreeKey. I lost my car keys at LAX and had some realllll fun thanks to that. It slips out much easier than it should. The only reason why I'm commenting is because the picture for the product has it. I use the K11. I've been using thicker key rings and hadn't had a problem since.

izAklyJust want to second this. The model I have is the K80. Last Sunday I dropped my car key outside of the car, and because I had been in the woods for a bit, I spent a long time looking for it, only to find it within 2 meters of my car. It is indeed prone to dropping, especially if you have just one thin ring. I'd definitely advise folks to use larger key rings in combination with this carabiner. Other than this, the style and look of this is on point.

Sammilux" prone to dropping ", What does this mean? I've had this carabiner for a while and no issues with FREEKEY rings. How is it prone to dropping? If it was within 2 meters of your car, sounds like it was in an obvious place and might be an issue with where you drop your items.

So we pay what we pay for these things and we get shipping that takes more than a WEEK to get it? Really Massdrop? You seriously need to examine the shipping you're using because for what I pay for this stuff, which is generally only slightly cheaper, in some cases, than Amazon, I get free two day shipping with them, with you, more than a WEEK is unacceptable. DO BETTER or I'm done with you.

Dumb_F_LeftistsFree? You pay an annual (or a monthly) Prime membership fee for the benefit of free 2-day shipping from Amazon. Try getting “free two day shipping” without paying for it in advance. ;)

FWIW - I was in on the last drop and bought a K11 carabiner to use as my keyring base. After several weeks and several near losses of keys because the carabiner popped open in my pocket or elsewhere, I stopped using it. It simply does not have the requisite strength to keep itself closed when the gate is accidentally pushed on.
I cannot recommend the K11 as a keyring holder regardless of its panache. I started using a cheap aluminium carabiner from Home Depot (of all places!) and have not had a problem since.
