I'm starting to regret this purchase even before it's installed. First the Power Magic Pro I ordered with BlackVue DR750S doesn't work. The Power Magic Pro power LED doesn't come on. I'm getting around 5.7 volts at the cigarette lighter socket whether the switch is on or off. Second I just noticed printed on the BlackVue DR750S box it states that using anything other than a BlackVue branded SD card will void the warranty. But BlackVue branded SD cards cost 4 to 5 more than other SD cards and have I read they don't last very long. Also they have only a 6 month warranty. I have also read the BlackVue DR750S is very picky on what other branded SD cards will work with it. I'll try the BlackVue DR750S without the Power Magic Pro for now and see if it will work with a new Samsung 256GB 100MB/s (U3) MicroSDXC EVO Select Memory Card. The Samsung SD card was $40.99 from Amazon when I ordered it. BlackVue wants $180 for their 256GB SD card! Update 10\22\2019: Still haven't got to install my BlackVue DR750S but Drop is going to replace the defective Power Magic Pro. I'll be sending it out tomorrow. Update 10\23\2019: I got to install my BlackVue DR750S today sans the Power Magic Pro. Installation was very easy. Hiding the cables was quick and simple. I had around (guessing) 5 foot of excess cable to the rear camera but coiled it up and could hide it behind the left rear pillar cover. The video quality is very good front and back. My car rides pretty rough but surprising the video is smooth and steady. I have to view them in Windows Media Player or VLC Player though, see the issue below. Three issues I'm having with the BlackVue DR750S: One irritating problem though every time when I want to connect to my phone via WiFi I always have to forget the BlackVue DR750S WiFi on my phone and reenter the DR750S password to connect and use the BlackVue app. Does anyone else have that problem? Also I'm curious about what other users G-Sensor settings are in Normal mode. I set my up/down (vertical) setting to off (zero) as the roads in my area are pretty rough. I left the front/back and side to side at the default of 3 but get event recordings 80 to 90 percent of the time. I'm going to try both settings at 2 and see if that stops the premature event recordings. I can see the video files listed in the BlackVue Viewer but when I click on anyone of them a window pops up and states "BlackVueSD has stopped working." with no reason why. All there is is a "Close program" button. Again anyone else having this problem? Update 10/27/2019: Still get event recordings 80 to 90 percent of the time with the front/back and side to side sensitivity set to 2. I installed and tried the BlackVue Viewer on another laptop and the videos will play on it but it's a duo core laptop and the videos are sometimes glitchy and slow to respond. That laptop is running Windows 7. The other laptop is a quad core running Windows 8.1.

Hey I use my 750S2Ch for two years already and I can tell you it’s fantastic. Sorry about your problem with Magic Pro but it’s not blackvue problem. As for SD card I use a higher end of Samsung (pro) same card for two years already with no issues. 750 is super durable in North East climate. We get 90+weather and sometimes low digits in winter. I hope you will install it soon. It’s a phenomenal piece of equipment.

I've sent back the Power Magic Pro and waiting to receive the replacement. Seems I'm having no problem with the Samsung 256GB 100MB/s (U3) MicroSDXC EVO Select Memory Card. Look at my updated post with other issues I'm having. Thanks.

Does anyone know what sort of Fuse tap (if any) the included Power Magic Pro comes with? On their site there are a few options, and this drop does not specify: https://www.blackvue.com/product/blackvue-power-magic-pro-vehicle-battery-discharge-prevention-for-parking-mode/

I believe that depends on you the fuses used in your car? I just ordered some on Amazon, and hope they'll fit.

No fuse taps come with the Power Magic Pro. I got a package of 10 fuse taps from Amazon for $9.87. The new circuit is fused as well as the tapped circuit and came with 15 amp fuses. Just remember to check witch side of the fuse terminal on the fuse box delivers the power (the hot side) before the fuse otherwise you'll end up with a load on a circuit that's not fuse protected and that may lead to a fire. The hot side on my fuse box are all on the right fuse terminals.

well, i now have a DR650S which works just fine EXCEPT it did not catch the rock thrown into the passengerside of the windshield on my SL55.. which would have been a help.. allstate replaced it with little argument (at a mercedes dealer for $3k!) but it would have been nice to have a video when it happened.. nevertheless i like the blackvue since i've been using them since about 2008.. this newer model would be a deal if i did not have one with almost the same specs.. $280 is a good price IMO and i might just upgrade and replace my older blackvue i have in my wifes car with my current DR650... one thing i don't like about this DR650 is it is BIG.. 1 3/8 inch diameter and 4 3/8 inches long.. much bigger than the first few blackvue models.. also, since i'm seeking a '59 or '60 cadillac convertible to kind of relive my days in the '60's a spare blackvue would be a good thing.. NOTE: no one should drive, these days, without some sort of dash cam..

I legitimately thought you were talking about the DR650S motorcycle and was very confused... Thank you for your comment.

I was shopping for dashcams last month and I settled for VIOFO A129 Duo and it's $100 cheaper. Only difference I'm seeing in specs is the front is 60fps on this one. The VIOFO A129 Package I got includes a Polarizing filter. (extra $20 for another filter for the rear camera). Also I don't know what else is included in this one. But mine included wire clips w/ adhesive so I manage to cleanly hide and route the rear camera wire and power wire.

I've purchased many $100+ dashboard cameras over the past 8 years of trucking, and none of them would last over a year. Then I bought some cheapo "Lux" one for $25 and it's going on year 3. Even worked when it was -40°F out last winter. So I'm never going to spend over $100 for one anymore.
