Solid bag, as long as you don't get it wet

Ordered and received this bag about two months ago, and fell in love with it immediately. I chose the brown version, and the bag is gorgeous. Solidly built, I was very impressed once I adjusted the straps and tossed a few books in it to simulate my work materials. Far and away my favorite part of this bag are the metal fixtures that hold the bag closed, there's a very satisfying click as the closing tabs slide home. Inside, the lining is patterned fabric and has a zipped pocket under the opening flap. There's another zipper pocket on the outside/backside (the part that rests against the body while worn) that has displayed some loose threads in the past weeks, but nothing a small pair of scissors couldn't fix. However, within a few weeks of regular use (carrying my D&D books to game night and my laptop to/from work mostly), I noticed a stain on the side of a few of my pairs of pants. After some detective work, I attributed it to the bag, it must have gotten a bit wet as I came home during a rainstorm (under an umbrella, but still), and the friction was causing some of the stain to seep into my pants along the pocket seam where the bag sits on my hip. I eventually managed to save the pants (pre-wash stain remover, power wash, with heavy spot treatment, ideally before you've run the stain through the dryer), but I expected better sealing on a bag of this price. That alone, however, would only be enough to lose a single star. When I originally figured out the bag was to blame, I reached out to the British Belt Co for help, and they rudely suggested I take it up with MassDrop's customer service instead, offering zero help or advice. All in all it's a fine bag (and one I plan to try and re-seal with some aftermarket leather care products) for carrying a laptop and accessories while looking stylish, but for the love of your pants, don't get it wet, and don't expect any help if you do.

Great bag for work

I use this bag everyday for work. My 15" laptop fits perfectly inside, and it can also hold all my documents and journals with space left. I really like the feel of the leather, it's really smooth. Having both the strap and the handle is convenient, as you can choose how you want to carry it. The lining inside can be flipped inside out to get any lint out of the bag, which is really good in my opinion. My only dissapointment is that it doesn't have a seperate compartment for for my laptop.
