Boycott you can get exactly the same thing at half the price on e-bay
The problem is they said "exactly they same thing". And that is not true.
The first hammock you gave a link to is pink and is only 102" long. That is Tiny. Our Moskito Kakoon hammock is 116". That's a big difference
The second link you provided, the hammock is 106" long and they call it a double. That's not even as big as our Traveller lite single person hammock. Also, if you look at the images they have images of a cotton hammock in there too. There are a couple of red flags thers.
The third link you provided is 102".

Isn't it always a question of quality? How people think things that are totally different are "exactly the same" is just stupid.

How are these compared to Enos hammocks?
Ok, thanks for the detail. So the best item for comparison is the Yukon Outfitters. We did test our hammock to 600lbs and left it up for a few days, bounced it up and down, pushed it from side to side, etc. So then with consumer feedback we tried to gauge how much someone one 6'0" to 6'4" might weigh and we settled on 275 to be safe. I wish I could encourage you to buy the hammock, but I cannot encourage someone to exceed the weight limit.

Our family had gotten the hammock, fly and strap (last go around) and was great to sleep in. We really like the the pockets on the corner of the fly where the tie downs tucked into.

At 6'2 you'll be very tight. I would go with a longer wider body

I am a skinny 6'0" and I have enough room but just enough. I modded it with a couple tie outs to help the lie

DannyhammockAwesome, thanks Danny! Love the hammock!
I just cancelled my order of two of these hammocks, he's why...
I don't camp, I served 20 years in the US Army, and if I never have to spend another night out in the woods or eat another MRE, life will be good. I purchased two of these hammocks because I wanted to use them around the yard/deck to lounge in during the day, and once familiar with them, perhaps put one in the car, just in case I ever had to hike home and be able to rest/sleep off the ground.
These are excellent hammocks, exactly what I was looking for, the right combination of light-weight, and features that would serve my dual purposes; and at this price point it was a great deal. However, after receiving the email from Massdrop that the deal did not include the previously advertised suspension system, but instead we have to pay an additional $20 per hammock, it just isn't quite as sweet of a deal anymore - for me. Still a good deal, but appears to be about the same price (with all +$ options) as you can find in other online outlets. I do not believe Massdrop did a bait-and-switch, I just think this one was an oversight.
Now I'm thinking I'll just buy one lightweight hammock (not this drop), and test it out, as I'm not experienced with hammock systems.
I hope these comments were helpful to some of you, and just because this isn't the drop for me, it might be perfect for you. I also learned it is super easy to cancel from a drop; this is another testament to Massdrop's integrity, ease-of-use, and excellent customer service!
I just want you to know this was not a decision that was made because of a few complaints on Mass Drop. This was a manufacturing decision that had to be made for a few reasons. One is that a lot of state parks will not allow you to hang hammocks using ropes. Some go as far as not allowing you to hang hammocks at all. There are many other communities that have banned ropes as well. This version of the Moskito Kakoon hammock has been improved in may other ways and I'm sure you'll find this the best hammock on the market for the amount of money spent on this drop. Byer of Maine has been in business since 1880, always offering great quality products, and always stands behind those products.
DannyhammockThe fact they addressed the overly long pack length is more than enough for me to give up the ropes. In all honesty I've always found a strap/loop systems to be much easier to deal with than rope. While this was a pass for me previously I think I'll have to join up this round, in need of a warm season hammock.

Byers of Maine make some great products. However, I feel like I need to share my experience hen I purchased two sets of hammock straps. It took a very long time to get my shipment and it was short one set of straps. Massdrop had provide information including pictures of the packaging. After a few days I was asked if I wanted a refund or a new set sent out. Due to the high shipping cost I asked for a replacement(the shipping was the same for two and one). After several weeks and no item received Massdrop finally issued a refund. I was told the issue was with Byers of Maine and not Massdrop. Good products with poor customer service does not make for a good customer experience.

BnaltherrIf you would really like to make me happy then send me a set of straps. My discussions with Massdrop made me think the issue was with Byers of Maine.
BnaltherrIt very well may be my fault, I just hope to make it right. Please call me directly to discuss. 800-338-0580 x 227
This is a solid hammock for those looking to get into them. Much cheaper than ENO offerings and every bit as well made (if not more). I've since gone upmarket with boutique offerings but I've held on to this model to lend to family and friends who don't already have a hammock setup. There are a couple of things that made me switch to a Blackbird and Ridgerunner hammock: 1) It's a tad small for me to lay on the diagonal (5'10', 170lbs) 2) Hard to get the bugnet completely away from my face when laying on the diagonal, got a few mosquito bites on the side for my forehead.

ElectronicVicesI can agree with that. I bought one of these on Massdrop in a previous drop. And camped in it twice so far. Diagonal is simply NOT a option. (Am 6'1" 95 kilo male)
Also...would've been nice to know beforehand how freaking cold it is in one of these without something like a good mat or underquilt or something. That first night outside was freaking cold.
LX_EmergencyConvection is a real killer in hammock hanging... I use at least some sort of insulation when temps will be below 70F/21C.

$21.25 shipping costs to Europe is a deal breaker, a pity.

I've used this hammock for only a short while. (7 nights). It's really good. I've added dutch straps and buckles for suspension and have a kelty tarp (via massdrop). The system is bullet proof and comfortable. While I have lusted after more expensive hammocks, for a long time, with the moskito kakoon, that need has gone. I'm 5'11" 195lbs and the width and length is more than adequate. Good diagonal lie, without fabric in my face. Only slight mod I have made was running the Ridge line inside the bug net, after the poles, to create a hanging line. Good hammock, unmatched price. Thanks Byer and Massdrop

I sent Massdrop a message about how one of the spreader bars stretched the mesh at the bottom of the sheath pocket, made a hole in it and popped out. I haven't had any reply. Although I'm otherwise happy with the hammock, be aware that this can happen. I wasn't even in the hammock when it happened, and the plastic protective caps were on both sides of both rods. I didn't tense up the attachment cord either.
Benjamin6264Sorry to hear about your hammock. My name is Dan Hall from Byer of Maine. I'd like an opportunity to resolve your issue directly. Please send 3 or 4 images to me directly for inspection. Some of the spreader bar, and a few of the whole hammock just for an overall visual inspection. If it is a defect I'll be happy to send you a replacement at no charge. danh@byerofmaine.com
