It’s hard not to look twice at the Kashalot 2 Submariner from CCCP. The dial is stunningly deep (fitting, as the watch is inspired by Kashalot Class submarines from the 1980s) Read More
Mine came working very well and was in daily use for some time. Short time after purchase the hour hand stopped functioning. Very interesting case, neat for a collection however its not to be trusted.
Doesn't stay wound overnight. Doesn't keep time, bracelet is proprietary and cannot be changed out and the pièce de résistance, minute hand fell off so now I have to return this piece of Sh*t.
First experience with drop.com and will be my last.
Watch came in pieces, either the straps links fell apart in shipping or it was sent that way either way not what I expected for the money I would have been happier if they sent me a 10$ Casio, at least I could have worn it.
Montre avec un très bon RQP.👍
La finition n'a rien à envier aux marques plus prestigieuses et elle est très agréable au porté.😀
Je recommande chaudement à ceux qui seraient tentés 👍
Really good watch so far.Good conversation piece. Caseback is pretty cool. The movement in the watch seems to be fairly reliable so far, but time will tell I guess.
It's difficult to be too critical based on the Drop price. But based on the suggested original price very easy. My watch holds time to within a few minutes a day, its reserve time is at least 24 hours and the hands line up. The strap is a beast at 24mm, and the best part of the watch, with the expected amount of lateral play for a watch at this price point. However the crystal after just one day's use is covered with scratches - being literally softer than the cotton of my shirt cuff or the wool of my suit sleeve. The watch was advertised as being waterproof to 100m but its rear face clearly states only 50m. The Kashalot submarine this watch is named after is rumoured to have a dive depth of over 1000m as do sperm whales (kashalots), this watch would barely survive a trip into a shower. The bezel has a substantial amount of play. My biggest gripe - the lume is miserable. But overall it's a large, heavy watch, that looks good and its quality matches its cost.
The watch is a looker but functions as though it was a $10 dollar cheap watch. Does not keep time through the day and will not stay wound over night even with high activity use. The braclet also squeaks like an old door hinge. Do not buy CCCP unless you are looking for a pile of dysfunctional metal.
