Completely agree. Even after Tyler left the message "...our customer support team will be reaching out to those who have yet to receive their bag shortly with more detailed information and next steps" five days ago and ... nothing. I guess their definition of "shortly" is different than most.

OK, so no update on the backorder and no contact from support. Crickets.
Things get screwed up sometimes, but this is the second order I've placed with backorder issues, and my problem is not the deal but how you CS team does not reach out to address the problem in a proactive way.
I ordered the Olive bag with the Olive sleeve

and haven't gotten it either. I did, finally, get a response from support which stated that I can get a refund (after posting exactly the same thing in this forum), but no answer as to whether I was a part of the backorder or there was some other issue. I know I'm probably asking a lot, but when there's an issue with an order I generally get a lot more feedback from other vendors. I haven't (and won't) order from Massdrop again until this order is complete, and then I'll decide whether the discounts offered are worth the pain.

Another brief update. As we continue to coordinate with the vendor to resolve this fulfillment hiccup, our customer support team will be reaching out to those who have yet to receive their bag shortly with more detailed information and next steps. We are thankful to each and every one of you who participated in this drop and we'll have this resolved for everyone very shortly.
Another quick update. The vendor has let us know that a batch containing 5 Deep Olive bags with Red laptop sleeves is on its way to our warehouse in New Jersey now and should land early next week. The remaining units are being finished up now and the vendor hopes to have them prepared for shipment to our warehouse by late next week. We realize this extended delay is undesirable, and again, if you'd prefer to no longer wait and have your order cancelled and refunded you can do so by messaging us at https://www.massdrop.com/support.
Otherwise, we will work tirelessly to coordinate shipment of the backordered units until this circumstance is made right and you all receive the bags you ordered. We are grateful for your support and continued patience and you can expect an update from us by the end of the day Pacific Time on 8/18 or earlier if anything comes up.
