Ok, let me preface this with:I'm only a knife dabbler. For the most part my knife collection is Kershaw. And now CJRB. And CJRB has made me a convert, especially for midpriced blades. I would like to compare them to the upper tier knives. On to the review. At first I was taken aback and somewhat disappointed at the flipper tab. It is not as long as I was used to. But after about a week of use, I can't believe I had knives with tabs so long. The blade material and design: The design is semi-preference. I like the look of Wharncliffes really pleasing. As to the material, I have used it only for small jobs and cutting my steaks. I am not sure how long before I must sharpen the knife. The handle: It has left and right hand tip up options. While not my preference, I have come to grow accustomed to it. The handle material, I had hoped to get the copper, feels good in my hand. Like it won't slip during use. I also have a bad habit of using random things to open bottles. While this knife can open bottles with the handle, I would not recommend it. My handle is now marred with me opening one bottle. It is slightly noticeable, but that could be because I know exactly where to look. It also has a spot where I can attach a lanyard. While I love options, I don't think I will ever have use of a knife on a lanyard. Unless it was a fixed blade. The design: I wish for a more symmetrical design, but, I have an odd attraction to angles. So far the main reason I am a convert to CJRB knives, it is the action. Both of the CJRB's I have, it is really smooth. TLDR: So far, this if my favorite knife I currently own. It's action is smooth as buttah. Knife feels of quality and well made. Man, I really wish I had gotten the copper handle.

randomlyerraticWe all have different needs. I carry a pocket knife in the wilderness for my job. I keep them on a lanyard or they disappear. I have actually put knives on my drill press to add the hole.

Excellent build quality and design. Particularly for the money.
I bought one of these in cf and two with the copper scales (one for a friend). These are easily my favorite knives I've ever bought dollar for dollar. Even when comparing these with the famous Ontario RAT, Spyderco Tenacious, Kershaw Skyline, multiple Civivi's and other sub $50-$75ish knives, this comes out on top for me. I own all of these and many more of the best knives in this price range. The rampart is amazing. The copper version particularly is my favorite. It's thinner and heavier than the carbon fiber version. I carry it very frequently, although i did bend the pocket clip and need to bend it back. It gets used and it works great. The action is buttery smooth and very satisfyingly substantial feeling. The blade has some weight, which I love for the most part. It's a really usable blade. The knife is just well built. Very good fit and finish on all 3 knives I received. Great blade centering. Great detent. Great grind. Everything was just how I thought it should be. All in all this for me is the best sub $50 folder I've come across. For a decade it was the Kershaw Skyline, then I bought these. Nothing else beat that Kershaw for edc that I had come across, and maybe this doesn't either, but man oh man do I love it anyway. And I do carry it more than the skyline recently. The only knife I carry more is an Extrema Ratio BF3 Dark Talon, but it's definitely not a practical or useful edc comparatively to the Skyline or the Rampart. I just like it more. And it was much more expensive. Buy the Rampart. If you would like a knife of this style, you won't be disappointed. It's a truly great knife at this price point.

Really like this knife
This is my main at home unboxing knife now and I really like the weight and feel of it in the hand. I love that you can open it with one hand without and spring assist.

I don’t know how a $30 knife could get better
I’m giving 5 stars based on bang for the cost. Blade and handle shape are personal. I like the chunky blade and the handle is narrow but I like it. Its light for its size and sturdiness. It doesn’t look like a cookie cutter Gerber and it has a nicely centered blade and great action. I tuned the liner lock slightly, and snugged the pocket clip to my preference. Photo: The flipper is quite smooth. I added my own jimping, easy squeezey. For $30 I was fearless about damaging it. I like the improved grip and better flip. 5 stars for price/quality ratio, if it was $75 I might give it a 4. I’m a fan of these cheap Chinese knives, I’ll probably buy more. This one will ride in my pocket this summer, instead of a pricey knife. I’ll update after I abuse it during the US 2020 wildfire season.

Great knife with some caveats.
Overall, I truly enjoy using this knife. As someone who uses a blade daily, this one will stay in my pocket for the foreseeable future. I love the blade shape for the work I do with it. Straight edges work very well for me. I would have liked to see a more blunt tip, however. I'm afraid that the lightest prying will snap the tip off. The tip resembles a utility knife blade. The steel is hard enough to hold an edge for a good while, but not so hard that it can't be sharpened reasonably easily. D2 is a nice choice for a daily used knife. Keep an eye on rust. D2 is not stainless. I love the look and the material that the handle is made of. The blue G10 that I chose resembles denim, and the stainless and copper accents are very nice alongside. I feel that the scales could have been profiled a bit better. The knife has a chunky feel in the hand and pocket and at the same time is a little too slim. I admittedly have big, meaty hands, but I think some refinement here would be appreciated. The construction of this knife is excellent in every way. It feels solid and smooth. The detent in the closed position is very positive, and gives a secure feel. As someone who is constantly in awkward positions at work, this is a very welcome feature. I don't feel that it is difficult to open. Some jimping on the flipper stud would be nice, but I haven't really noticed a problem during use. The pivot bearing is extremely smooth, and has stayed that way through some tough use. I am constantly in dirty, dusty, muddy, sandy, sawdusty (is that a word?) environments, and this knife hasn't had a hiccup. The pocket clip is no thrills, but is also secure and fits over heavy work pant seams with no problem. It fits with the utilitarian theme of this knife very well. No problems there. The one major issue that I have with the knife is that it was made in China. I thought I may have missed that fact before purchasing, but after reviewing the original post; there is no mention of origin. I was distinctly disappointed in this. I feel that if a product is not domestic; there should be some notice. Overall, I feel that I got what I paid for. I have a strong utilitarian knife at a price that I am comfortable paying. Had I received a domestic product, this would have been an excellent deal, but I am not disappointed in what I received, ultimately.

I've used this knife for a couple of weeks now and I have a couple things to say, I love the blade shape others may not and that may discourage you On the flipper tab theres no jimping on it, so if you prefer jimping, take that into consideration. On the close the detent is a little strong to overcome and sometimes it rockets itself down, so if you prefer no detent I'd take that into consideration

Great value for the money, but it could use a few improvements
The blade is not well centered nor was it very sharp out of the box. There's no real noticeable wobble, and the knife fits perfectly in my hand. I also love its shape. It looks like a high-speed train car if you set the knife on its spine with the blade closed.
