As mentioned in the update from yesterday, we had a conference call with the team from Cooler Master earlier today to finalize the appropriate compensation for the delay for this drop.
And I have very good news for everyone. Cooler Master has offered everyone a $20 coupon for any purchase of CM Storm products on CMStore-USA.com. In addition, we will also be including a CM Storm Cherry MX Switch Tester (https://www.massdrop.com/buy/cm-storm-cherry-mx-switch-tester) for every order of the Quick Fire Stealth keyboard.
To show the commitment Cooler Master has for the Massdrop community, they will also be designating a team of 4 people (doubling what we had previously) for Massdrop. With this new team going forward, we are very confident the requests from Massdrop community will receive enough attention and resources within the organization such that this sort of scenario won’t happen again and we will also be able to run bigger and more unique drops!

nelsonGreat news... I think... I hope...
First off, great that there is some form of compensation set up. Certainly not expected or anticipated that to happen. So thanks for that.
However, I entered the mx-switch tester Massdrop, which means I paid for the Switch tester already . So getting a 2nd as form of compensation is not really something I see as compensation. How will you deal with that? Reimburse the switch tester Massdrop I entered? Also in Canada, so hopefully there will be an appropriate solution for the coupon too.

nelsonUgh, the key tester isn't useful to most of us. We all had to choose between browns and reds to begin with, so we probably already did testing of our own before joining this mass drop. The $20 coupon is awful. As an example, the Hyper 212 Evo is $2 less on Amazon and with Prime is free shipping. CoolerMaster is going to charge shipping ($12.99 is the cheapest to my house), so overall, that's a $5 coupon. If you're looking to try out the Nova Touch TKL...that coupon won't even bring the price in line with Amazon ($175.95 shipped with Prime) vs. CM-StoreUSA.com ($199.99 + $12.41 shipping so even with coupon you pay $16.45 more). I'm not cancelling my order, but I'll think twice next time I plop money down on the table.

They dropped the ball badly there, but if they're paying attention to anything (I know that's probably too much to ask these days but one can hope), wouldn't it make some sense to make extra and do a limited drop? A good number of the other drops here are like that, so I'm hoping it doesn't hurt to ask!

A little frustrated by the Keyboard Club

Not sure what other's experience has been... but the Keyboard Club has been a pretty frustrating experience for me. The discount is supposed to be $30-100 USD. I looked at my history today, and there have only been a handful of times - IN 3 YEARS! - where my discount was more than $30. The odds of a deeper discount at a time I'm actually ready to buy are worse than the Powerball. I wish that Drop would start advertising this for what it is: Pay for the Club and you'll get $30 discount per month. It feels like it would be more honest than what we're seeing right now. After 3 years I canceled. I just can't justify paying for discounts that are (almost) always at the lowest end of the promised range.
