Despite strange contours, very easy to hold
With a space-age design like this, one may wonder how comfortable something with this many angles on a handle can be. Let me tell you, it's surprising. When first picking up the blade and flicking it out, I couldnt help but notice it comfortably seats my fingers. It feels so natural in the hand, you honestly forget it has a very different and unique design to it.

Sleek and Modern
It's got great aesthetic design, with a mirror finish and great polish. The flip tab angle is a little awkward at first, but nothing you can't get used it. I wouldn't want to use it too much though, as pretty much anything can scratch up that mirror finish. The tolerances are great though, everything is tight and without wiggle, making it feel very premium.

Fantastic knife - painful flipper tab.
really like this knife the design is awesome- came with a crazy sharp edge - highly recommend! BUT the flipper tab is PAINFUL! It has this point right at the very place you have to apply the pressure to and man after a few flips it hurts a LOT! Whoever designed that flipper tab either never actually tried it or was just feeling plain sadistic! Still like design enough to recommend it you can push through some pain.

Well balanced and stays sharp.
While this knife is a bit on the heavier side given its size, it rests in the hand very nicely. (For reference: I wear medium-large gloves.) The extra weight that comes with having a full metal handle gives a positive weight distribution. This is a good EDC.

Good working blade with a little flash
Great to use a box and parcel opener. Opening action is smooth and quick, closing requires two hands which may limit this knife for some users. Striking good looks and comfortable to use, it's a fine first pocket knife or conversation piece.

Doggocopterits possible to close one handed. Using your thumb push on the lock and with your pointer start to push the blade in, it’s heavy that it won’t close on your finger and then use your thumb to pull on the little knub that’s near the bottom on the sharp side to push it all the way in.

Great Knife! Good EDC!
Before I start, its worth mentioning that this is not just my first CRKT knife, but also my first tanto style knife in general, though I have collected quite a few knives over time. Overall, this is a great knife. I have the Deviation in the bronze colorway, and its a great blade. The knife deploys smooth as glass, and doesn't get caught up or jammed on anything. I was a bit worried by the shape of the handle, since I have had a knife that was "shaped to my hand" before and it was not incredibly comfortable. This knife, however, feels great in the hand, allowing you to hold it with your hand fully on the handle, or further up the body, closer to the blade. As far as sharpness is concerned, this blade shipped razor-sharp, and I have no real concern for the longevity of the knife. My only real con is that the bronze coloring on my model shipped "splotchy." To be fair to Drop and CRKT though, this is an issue that is only noticeable upon close inspection, and under certain lighting. Additionally, the all-metal construction means that the blade can pick up fingerprints pretty easily, but this isn't a problem with the knife but is a byproduct of its construction. Overall, this is a great knife that will probably be a regular part of my EDC for quite some time.

Lovely to look at
You sometimes buy a knife not to be used, but to be shown. This is a show knive. To let others know what design csn be. The edge doesn't hold and it dulls relatively quickly, which came as a surprise. That said, I would want another one as it fits my Star Trek kind of idea of knives. Again, it's something you show and you like it or don't. It doesn't always have to be an expensive knife to show

The flip tab doesn't seem to flip it out all the way most of the time. But the most disappointing thing was the blade was nowhere near as sharp as I expected it be, the cuts weren't clean even on paper and cardboard.

Nice blade. Scales and body design however makes the knife uncomfortable to use.

Not the smoothest action, but definitely great machining work
Very nice and sleek, great build quality. But the action is stiff
