Hello, any input on how these compare against the Shure SE846? I currently have the Shures and am not liking them as much as I thought I would. More than likely it's because I have only driven them with my phone (Note 9). I like that these have far reaching bass as my main genre would be electronic. Am I correct in thinking most smartphones would drive these just fine? Thanks for any input!

AdvancedPrismHi,
Previous version - the Ei.xx was loosely based around SE846 signature. The FIBAE Massdrop Exclusive improves upon the previous model but adding a little bit extra midrange and a lot of highs. The bass on MEs will be similar to SE846 but more shifted to sub-bass regions rather than mid-bass - so better control and better texture. Mids will be more forward and highs will be considerably more extended and present. FIBAE MEs won't change much with the source, thanks to FIBAE technology so there's no longer issue with paring. If Note9 is anything similar (if not better) to SGS9 which I use there will be plenty of power to spare with MEs.

MomjsThey were great until both of the earphones connectors broke within the first 3 months. Those connections were both made way too cheaply.
