If you plug another device into the second USB-C port, does it kill your LEDs.
I plugged my phone (Note8) into the second USB-C port with an Anker USB-C to USB-C cable and my LEDs just die.
STINKY10306The LED brightness will scale down depending on the power draw of the other device plugged in. The more power it pulls, the more the LEDs dim, and if draw is too high they'll cut out completely. So essentially, anything that gets charged via USB is likely to kill the LEDs as those devices will pull as much power as they can get.
chucktdriscollGotta ask (rhetorically): What's the point of even having the extra USB port if the keyboard is too weak to fully function when you partake of it? Maybe it's really just there so you can choose the port that allows for better cable control.
kittykatmaxThe USB port on the PC is the limiting factor. It can only supply so much power. If you plug your mouse or other low power device into the CTRL everything will work great. Or plug the CTRL into a USB port that can supply a lot of power (like a powered USB hub port).
