The keyboard is great, once you get one that is produced correctly. I am on my 3rd Keyboard at this point because my 2 previous ones both had lighting issue. One of the ones I was sent had two Y key's as well. It seems to me that the CTRL keyboard manufacturing was a bit rushed and that's why QA is struggling to fix these issues that seem to be rampant in the other reviews. If you are looking to be an early adopter of something that is a premium product, but has it's issues, I would say go for it, I love my CTRL keyboard and I bring it too and from the office every day. But if you are not willing to risk any hassle at all for 200+ dollars I would look elsewhere for a TKL keyboard.
JTheTigerThis worries me as I really like the design of this keyboard like the look of it with the aluminum and it's a clean minimalist design in general. So I decided to purchase one, now I just wait but if somethings wrong (hopefully not) I will have to return or refund.
SebyIf the keyboard comes without issues it's great, it looks sleek and clean, the aluminum is strong and rigged. The massdrop team also does a great job of getting you a new one if yours isn't working as intended. If you're patient you will get a working product. It's just part of being an early adopter of a premium product.
JTheTigerI had this keyboard for about 3 weeks now and wow is it a nice a keyboard. A little expensive for what you get but I got a fully functional one and I love it. I'll have to add a review soon.
JTheTigerI have the same issue - and despite the board still being listed as "in stock" they would not exchange mine. I guess they got tired of replacing these! I will not be shipping with Massdrop again.
