Looks very similar to a Rolex watch that my dad gave me for high school graduation. He was a chaplain with the Seaman's Institute and had picked up a couple of Rolex watches on a voyage to Rio De Janeiro. Since I was far too active as a carpenter, trail foreman, and back country ranger to wear any kind of wrist watch, I didn't wear any watch other than a pocket watch. It stopped working and was diagnosed with a cracked winding mechanism. After dad passed away I sold it for $17, 500.00 and used the funds toward purchasing the property for our home. Nice looking watch, but still can't stand wearing a wrist watch. Thanks Dad!
DominkoI saw the the drop and thought how much it looked like my Rolex. Plus, I have and had a couple of 24 hr. movement watches. I knew Glycine still makes a 24 hr. watch (one fake, i.e. 12hr. movement and a true 24 hr.). Even though I don't wear the 24 hr. movement watch I own, I still can't resist checking out watches that just MIGHT BE the ONE. I spent my career and military on 24 hr. time. That is the story and I'm sticking with it.
