J'ai cette Eberhard, Grande Date donc La Joux-Perret, cadran bleu ... et sunburst, bracelet bleu, finitions bluffantes. Juste parfaite !!

It’s not just hard, it’s Eberhard!!! Got a chrono coming from Tsao Baltimore(much cheaper and a meca movement) tomorrow or early next week so can’t afford this one now. Like the blue though and the big date . Overall pretty decent look.

Yep, but as I said the only thing I was pointing out was the fact that since I bought another watch I spent my limit for the month. Could have spent the 1k for this one but not 1.35k for both. That being said my TSAO awaits me at home. Maybe next time this one comes up on Drop I'll get it. The pic you posted is the color I got too. I got their diver the last time and its pretty good quality and I enjoy wearing it. Has a few cool bits of different design like the crown at 2 and sapphire bezel. This is my first Mecaquartz.

BeastMDCongrats it's really nice 😆✅ I just commented because you also asked if there's something bad about your ⌚ and certainly there's nothing wrong I like it 😀

I never find it eberhard to pass this one up. If eber there was a dial that looks to have been designed by committee, this is it. Frankly I've eber seen a worse one!

Do the blue dial and blue bordered dial come with a blue or black strap?

Anyone else noticed the resemblance to Tag 16 ? Also the logo really turned me off, would've bought this if the logo wasn't so horrendous.

RominYes, but you will not find a new Tag 16 or similar from Tag for $999. Personally I can live with the logo, as it is a lovely well sized sports watch ; granted it could be done with a little more class, but not a deal killer. But currently the price is; $999 is a deal killer for me and I fear many others.

I think this is a nice-looking watch but between the dollars and the overall look I'll pass. I'm partial to the Navitimer so this doesn't quite do it for me, and I checked out the catalog and didn't find more than one or two of their pieces that I found worthwhile. All nice models but nothing I need. And variants of a respected movement don't thrill me either. Good price but I'd rather pay a significant amount of $$$ for a legit pre-owned watch with provenance than a quasi-warrantied solid alternate choice. Definitely like it but happily admired in someone else's collection. Enjoy :-)

This is not a run of the mill Valjoux 7750 it has the La Joux-Perret caliber LJP 8210, based on the 7750 indeed, but this one has a big date complication @ 🕒 (also uncommon) I'm joining while I 💭, 🕵🏻‍♂️ and make my final decision. You mean this Raymond Weil https://drop.com/buy/raymond-weil-freelancer-chronograph-automatic-watch the styling is indeed similar, you've got a nice ⌚✅ and I certainly prefer the beautiful case back on the Raymond Weil. Also, I remember the price was great as well: one of the lowest for a high quality chronograph. Congrats on your ⌚😎👍🏻 Your Raymond Weil has the Valjoux 7750: it's the normal caliber and it's a proven and great one. Read here for it's story https://quillandpad.com/2018/09/22/valjoux-7750-the-worlds-greatest-chronograph-movement-by-far-by-popularity-and-numbers/ I don't know for certain the actual power reserve but it seems greater than advertised. Check the ETA ℹ which specifies power reserve up to 5️⃣4️⃣ hours: https://www.eta.ch/en/our-products/mechanical-movements/mecaline-chronographs/eta-mecaline-chronographs-7750-valjoux-unavailable Recently, ETA has created an updated 7750, which is the A05.21 this one having up to 6️⃣0️⃣ hours power reserve but it's only available within Swatch Group https://watchbase.com/eta/caliber/a05-h21 some description of the upgrades here https://forums.watchuseek.com/f2/hamilton-h21-accuracy-long-term-review-1182666.html There's also a bigger (size) Valjoux 7750, which is the Valgranges family and in particular the A07.211 This one is available for everyone https://www.eta.ch/en/our-products/mechanical-movements/mecaline-chronographs/eta-mecaline-chronographs-a07211-valgranges-unavailable and here https://www.ablogtowatch.com/eta-valgranges-movements-solution-for-the-big-watch/ Finally, here you have the whole Valjoux family, interesting read https://reference.grail-watch.com/family/eta-7750/ I hope you can also join for this ⌚ so you get those big Arabic numerals and also a big date... pretty easy to read.

MarPablThanks I have some great reading ahead, that 60 hour movement sounds expensive. Probably see it in the high end of town. Regards.

Reminiscent of the Chopard Mille Miglia. My only problem that it's too large. I'd prefer a 40-41mm.

on my girly 6.5" wrist, it makes a big difference. Yes, I agree about the big date. Very uncommon on chronos.
